I've purchased different big brand popular name inner fender liners before that couldn't touch these. As soon as they were delivered, I was surprised at the weight of the box when I picked it up. When I opened the box, I couldn't have been happier. These certainly had some weight to them and weren't those flimsy, tin feeling things from other companies. These were this and a great quality. The finish in them was great too. The instructions are pretty straightforward and if you've ever done it before, you know it's a pretty easy process. I immediately checked the fitment to make sure everything lined up and was going to work without a problem. Everything fit just fine. If the white flag is to dominant and obvious to you, you could always remove the white plate and paint it black or Grey to give it that subdued look or if your fancy and your Jeep is done up all colorful, ypu could match it. Let me be clear though, you can't just unscrew the white plate and screw it back on. It is riveted in there. It would take a little work, but completely possible and not difficult at all. If you own a Jeep, ypu must be at least slightly mechanically inclined, if not then just miserable...lol. These are definitely worth picking up and wish they had a rear set to match these. As soon as they do, they'll be on their way here! Love these and so happy to have them!

I ordered these thinking they would have better inner fender coverage than the inner fender liners I currently have. I was very disappointed to discover that these have almost the exact same inner fender coverage! These are definitely a budget friendly design. The construction is very heavy duty. Both in feel and weight. The steel is about 1/8 to maybe 3/32 of an inch thick. They come packaged in a thick plastic, with a little foam, that insures they do not get scratched up during shipping. The American flag that is cut into the front portion of the inner fender liner looks outstanding. The hardware and the mounting method for these inner fender liners is a total miss in my opinion. The hardware for the fenders is silver. The kit consists of silver Allen head cap screws for the fenders and two massive looking black bolts for the “no drill” bracket that secures the back portion of the inner fender liner to your jeeps fender hardware. I really don’t like this set up. I don’t like the idea of sliver hardware with black inner fender liners. I do like the idea of not drilling holes into my Jeep in order to mount these. However, the execution of this no drill mounting seems like an afterthought with this item. It’s the one thing that has been keeping me from mounting these. The no drill mount set up and the weight of these inner fender liners are the two biggest complaints I have with these. The units I currently have are made of aluminum and are probably a quarter of the weight of these units. I’ll probably never have to worry about corrosion with my current inner fender liners. With these units being steel I’ll have to watch out for rust. These do have a very thick powder coat looking finish that I’m sure will inhibit rust. However, I tend to drive on the beach a lot and am sure that salty sandblasting from that type of off-roading will test this paint out in no time. Back to the mounting. I have after market fenders on my Jeep that I installed with black cap screws and lock nuts. Using my fat fingers to accomplish this was not easy. I’d have to undo some of my fender fasteners in order to mount these. For this reason I’ll probably NOT mount these. That and the fact that they are substantially heavier than my current set. I will say the instructions that come with these are pretty good. They seem to detail the installation process very well and have fairly good color photos of pretty much every step. If you are the type of person that doesn’t want to drill into their Jeep, loves showing off a little patriotic touch, and is in need of a budget friendly steel inner fender liner; then these units are for you. I will unfortunately have to pass on using these because they aren’t any better than what I already have. I was looking for more inner fender coverage. Seems all the budget friendly inner fender liners in the market leave the rear inner fender area of the wheel well exposed to the elements.

* Solid carbon steel blocks nasty mud, rocks, and road salt from trashing the engine bay. * The star cutout pattern looks incredibly aggressive and gives the rig a custom, off-road aesthetic. * Bolt-on installation means you don't have to drill sketchy new holes into your Jeep. The factory plastic fender liners on my JK were absolutely shredded, leaving the engine totally exposed to brutal Maryland road grime and heavy rain. These steel liners are incredibly solid and bolted right into the existing holes without a fight. The star design looks super rugged, giving the wheel wells a clean, high-end finished look. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing the internal components are actually protected by steel now instead of flimsy plastic.
