3 light double drum white shade ceiling light is modern, clean, timeless. Small to medium size. Matches most decors: monochrome, modern, eclectic, traditional, lux, etc. I thought the double shade might filter light too much + not allow enough light through. I'm happy to say the outer plastic shade is translucent and the inner fabric shade is thin. Looks nice. POSITIVES: + Fixture is lightweight and easy to lift, work with, and mount to ceiling. + Very simple + easy assembly. Instructions are useless. Assembly is similar to 'Ludil 3 light ceiling fixture' on Amazon. Almost identical in steps, if you search that light fixture, there's an instructional video that's helpful. Electrical install + mount is the same as most fixtures, will be pretty straight forward. NEGATIVE: Cord that houses electrical wires was bent at top of shade, box from factory too short, not properly sized. Top of box was pressing on cord, compressed cord against metal top. Cord was indented, needed to be straightened + inspected. Luckily insulative coating was not cut. INCLUDED PARTS: twist on wire connector caps, push in quick connect wire connector, 2 screws, 2 drywall anchors, 2 washers. I normally use 3 twist on caps, then wrap each tight in electrical tape. LIGHT BULBS NOT INCLUDED, 60 watt max, E26 base. NOTE: bottom of the light fixture is acrylic, not glass. This is not an expensive light, but it still looks nice. And price with coupon is good. According to my bf, it was a quick job. Although, I did help hold it a bit, it seemed like a typical ceiling light fixture to install. I took about 15-20mins start to finish. One thing that stood out was that the light bulbs doesn't use the standard light bulb. I had to use an A15 size bulb.

So many ceiling fixtures are marketed deceptively and this is the case here. It does say it is less than 12" across, but honestly: Why? They shoot the image so you it appears larger. The quality of the fixture is good. It's as easy as any other to mount, although ours came with no instructions. But why not 18" The light quality is as good as your bulb, which is improvement in many cases. A lot of lights out there just build in LEDs, which will last years, but will need to be tossed out when they die. Here you can adjust both output and color based upon your bulb choices. That is a plus. But the size, the size, the size. It's just too small for even a tiny space. It looks tiny up there. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I acquired this light to switch out the flush mount light in my living room. I especially like the shape and how its three bulb system helps to brighten up the room very nicely. I went with the color white and really enjoy the two shade style of cover. It helps to defuse the light nicely, making it brighten up a room, but not making it so much like a spotlight to hurt your eyes. It softens the light and helps to brighten up any space. The light arrived promptly and was packaged very nicely. While unpacking the box, I was sure to check, and I had all the parts. Interestingly enough, the instructions mentioned that it included lightbulbs. I didn’t see any details about this on the ad nor were there lightbulbs in the package? Still I use the standard size lightbulbs, which are a little tight to squeeze in here. You can fit them in, but they will push up against the inner shade. So you want to use a bulb that won’t heat up like an LED. Everything else is very standard. The installation with straightforward you simply take off your old light you put up the bracket connect the wire assemble the light screw it in, and you’re good to go. It is a beautiful light and really added a lot of his ass to my living room. If you’re looking for a light, I highly recommend this one. At this price it was really an amazing value. This came in a little smaller than I had envisioned, will look great in a small space but not in a large one. Thankfully my dining room is tiny and this fits nicely. I included a banana for scale. They really nailed the description of this, modern elegance. That is exactly what this is. I am so happy with how this looks with the double shade and silver outer shade that goes great with off white walls. This has three blub holders, I would only put LED's in this thing as it is compact, the blubs are not more than an inch or so from the light. There are some cons, first of all no instructions included with this. I am familiar with putting up these types of lights and if you have done it in the past it should be no problem. I like their mounting solution, it was easy. The hard part was finding a replacement screw for the one that was missing in the kit (the screw that attaches to the ceiling mount, only got one of them). My gut says give this 3 stars because of the missing screw / no instructions, but I really love the way it looks.... for this price it gets a solid four stars from me. Check your package for the screws before starting install so you can request missing parts form the seller. ... show more
