My wife rates this mattress topper as a solid 5 stars: silent, other sleeper's motion doesn't transfer, not so soft she is trapped in a hole matching her shape, not so firm side sleeping makes her hips hurt (just sore), and her hot flashes haven't taken any longer to recover from. For me, I get just enough shoulder and hip pressure sleeping on my side for it to bother me. I'm 5'10", 175 lbs. My wife is shorter and lighter. We consider this topper to be above the middle range for firmness. Our old topper was too soft and quick to sink into. The firm to extra firm topper on our guest bed required a 1" soft topper before anyone could sleep on it. This one takes time to conform to us as a shallow depression in the topper, not as a hole. We are fans of quality bamboo sheets. The bamboo cover for this mattress topper seems to breath and regulate temperatures as well as our sheets. The anti-slip bottom on the cover has kept the topper right where we put it. The California King size topper matched up with our California King mattress and high sided bed frame. My wife is sensitive to smells and commented on how stinky this mattress topper was when first opened. After four or five days of it airing out in an unused room, she said the smell was gone. With the topper on our bed, she has not noticed any smell. The provided cutter for getting the plastic off the topper was made with the blade not lined up with the back end of the notch, so it did not cut well. We used another cutter (same design, just with the blade in the right place) that came with the guest room topper. A pair of scissors and being careful would have worked too. Very good topper for a back sleeper. A side sleeper might want less firm and a bit thicker.

My mom’s mattress was definitely showing its age, but it still had some good years left in it. Since she really wanted a pillow top mattress, I thought I’d try something a bit more cost-effective first and get her a mattress topper to see if that could boost her comfort. I did a ton of research and, after a bit of trial and error, ended up trying two other toppers before finally finding the perfect one! One of them was so firm that it actually felt worse than her old mattress, which was a bit of a letdown. I was a little nervous about ordering the third topper, but I figured it was worth a shot. At 84 years old, she really needs a mattress that offers support but also some nice cushioning. This topper fits her curves beautifully; it’s a little heavy, but you can tell it’s really well-made. Putting it on her bed was imple—just strap it around the corners, and it stayed put perfectly. She’s been enjoying it so much, and I can see how it’s helping with her backaches too. So far, everything’s looking great!

I LOVE this mattress topper. We got my son bunk beds that also came with a trundle bed and the mattress with it is so thin and dreadful, I knew I needed a quality mattress topper to make it bearable for guests. This topper fit the bill and more! It came bundled up tight but quickly filled out and thankfully without any odor. The topper is pretty heavy by itself but I didn't find it difficult to get it where I needed it to be. It has an adjustment elastic band at each corner which is lovely for keeping the topper in place. I am pretty sure the mattress topper has now made our trundle bed the most comfortable bed in the house. Highly recommend!

This memory foam pad has temporarily given the mattress in my kid's room another life. I can't currently justify the amount of money it would cost to purchase a new twin sized mattress for my kiddo's room, especially since the plan is to get them a larger bed in a few years. This pad, placed on top of the mattress and then covered with a mattress protector and sheet, feels like a new mattress. Especially for a kid's relatively light weight,.this is an excellent value,.and seems like it will last quite a while.
