This frame is only three inches off the ground, which is perfect. It’s very sturdy, comfortable, nothing sticks out awkwardly to bump my toes on (like what always happened with my previous bed). I like the structure because it provides support but also allows plenty of air circulation. It was easy to follow the assembly instructions. However, I did need to use a power tool for just one of the steps; manual was too hard for that step. It weighs enough to be very sturdy but not too heavy to move to a different location. My mattress stays put, doesn’t slide around. I’ve been sleeping incredibly well since I got it. It doesn’t make any noise when getting in or out of bed. It’s the perfect functionality. Don't believe the reviews with people saying it's bad quality. Especially for what I paid, which is the low to average sell price, this bed frame is amazing. The extremely low height is something I needed for a specific application. Overall, the frame was packaged nicely. The instructions could have been better but I didn't use them, just looked at them for observation. Everything connected perfectly and so far it seems sturdy. We purchased this frame to lower the bed for an aging family member, and it turned out to be exactly what she needed. The lower height makes getting in and out of bed MUCH easier, which was the entire goal. The only downside is that the reduced clearance under the bed has dramatically affected the local cat population. What was once prime feline real estate is now considered unsuitable for lounging, hiding, and conducting whatever mysterious business cats conduct under beds. Price was nice, assembly wasn’t terrible, but it’s a challenge to get it assembled tightly. The screws are on the outside right in front of the frame, so that doesn’t look great. 4 stars because I’m thankful it was available and okay for what I needed.

I bought this frame to replace a standard bed frame which required a box spring. The box spring made the mattress too high. Using this frame allowed us to eliminate the box spring, and the 9-inch height allowed us to still store our flat (7-inch high) bins underneath. We really like that the bed is completely quiet. No noise at all when sitting on it or moving around. It is super sturdy without being super heavy. Just make sure you have the space and the time set aside to assemble the frame.
