Beautiful and nice thickness. No odor at all and was at the proper thickness within a few hours. But I don't think it helps from overheating. What I can't find out is should I also put a mattress pad over it (which is a cooling one) or is it instead of a mattress pad that would then need removed from the foam and laundered? So if you don't need it to be cooling it is very nice and it is comfortable. ... show more

I have a sleep number and though I can adjust the firmness / softness of the bed; it just needed a little more cushion. I’m satisfied with this memory foam bed topper. I have a very expensive firm mattress that is perfect for my needs. I want to protect it with an extra firm mattress topper. After many hours of looking around, I purchased this Cali King mattress topper. It feels perfect on the carpet floor, almost exactly like my mattress does, strangely. However, when place on the bed it sinks in so terribly that I woke up to a sore back and hips. I'm rather young, athletic, and healthy; in turn, if you're similar I recommend something much firmer. With that said, the mattress topper came in tip-top shape, great materials, ZERO smell, and feels great on the floor. It's just needs an EXTRA FIRM or almost solid base for this to be desirable. Everyone else here probably doesn't have a 2,000 USD firm mattress to compare with so suite yourself. ... show more
