Update: I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars due to the excellent customer service. After sharing my concerns the company reached out to make things right. The product itself is great quality and I’m sure it would be an excellent topper for a lot of people, just didn’t work for me. I will be a returning customer in the future just based on customer service and quality of products. Original: I really wanted to love this.. we purchased a new memory foam mattress and it was too hard for my liking. I was searching for a topper that would provide some softness while still having the support on my back and limiting back pain. First reaction to topper was wow this is really comfy, unfortunately it was too soft my back pain came instantly back while sleeping. My husband is a large man (6’3 240lbs) and it was even worse for him. He sank down soooo low. If you are looking for something VERY soft and are a back sleeper, this would be great for you. Unfortunately it’s not good for stomach sleepers like myself. Disappointed I spent all that money on something I am going to have to take off the bed anyways.

Our Tuft & Needle Mattress looked in perfect shape, but we were having trouble sleeping thru the night and were waking up with back pain and shoulder pain. After shopping for a new mattress, we decided to give a mattress topper a try. So glad we did. This mattress pad makes all the difference! No more pain or trouble sleeping! It does not slip around (we have it under a mattress pad and fitted sheet) and not noticable at all. Bonus is that the cover can be removed and washed. Definitely a great buy!

Have been in an xtend stay hôtel longer then anticipated. Very accommodating hotel … except the mattress found aches in my bones I did not know existed. Irregardless of price (which is very reasonable), would purchase this topper again. It gave me magical comfort. Quality cover … exactly the home bed type comfort I needed. Thank you !!!

So the reviews on this product are all over the place. Most comment that it is soft but a few claim it is too firm. I just received this a few days ago and I can say the sample I received is way too soft. I am 5'6"and 160 LBS. I sink into this 3 inch topper so far that it feels I am sleeping in a hole. This is the first memory foam topper I have tried and it is not encouraging me to try any other. My mattress is only 1 year old and rather expensive but a bit too firm. I was trying to soften it a little with this topper. What I got is 3 inches of soft foam that allows you to sink in so far that you can feel the side pressure on your body. You will be literally sleeping in a hole. If you are looking for a very soft topper this is your product. Although many complain about the smell that was not an issue with my sample. In fact, there was very little smell. It expanded overnight. If you are looking for support of a topper that will let you sleep on it rather than in it then this would not be your choice. I probably won't return it since it has expanded and re-boxing it is not practical. I will try it for a few more nights before I may give up on it. Just be sure you want something VERY soft before you order.

This mattress topper is literally sleeping on a cloud. It’s super soft and you will sink right into it. I sleep on my back and side and my wife sleeps on her stomach. Works for all positions and has day after day been the best sleep of our life!

A few years ago I purchased a memory foam 3” topper at Costco. It improved the comfort of the older mattress but significantly shifts position and sleeps quite hot. This time I chose the “3” gel …cooling mattress topper” from Amazon. . What a difference! I’m no longer fighting the traditional mattress pressure on my shoulders, hips, and knees.
