ETA: SELLER MESSAGED ME AFTER POSTING THIS REVIEW AND OFFERED 80% REFUND. Issued the refund immediately. Also said they’d send the feedback to their QC folks, to improve upon issues noted in review. This was among the best of the available solutions. It is nearly impossible to return this item, due to the vacuum packing used. And while an exchange was offered, I was skeptical that same issue could occur again. SELLER IS VERY WILLING TO MAKE ANY ISSUES RIGHT, SO I AM EDITING MY REVIEW TO MAKE THIS NOTED. Not many sellers go to that above and beyond level of service. This seller does!!! I so wanted this to work. But as soon as my husband and I unpacked this, using the provided instructions, we both noticed how much of a bulge there was in the middle of our topper. The bulge runs vertically, all the way down the near center of the mattress topper. We both wondered how much this bulge was caused by the intense folding and vacuum packing of the product. It is severely folded and refolded, as well as rolled and wrapped in vacuum packing. We knew it would be next to impossible to repackage and return. We felt “stuck”—a hostage or Stockholm Syndrome situation where you hope to learn to love it, vs actually love it. So far, we do not love it nor do we even like it. The bulge that we described above is still in the topper. And this is after leaving it flat on our basement floor for four days after unpacking. And both of us walking up and down on the pad (picture Lucille Ball “prancing” in the huge vat of grapes episode) to try to flatten out the bulge that still runs down the center. We wound up putting it on our existing mattress, which is very level. Still the bulge. And now we have slept on it, feeling as if we are rolling toward the edge of the bed bc of the center bulge—now more like a camel hump. No matter what we do, we SINK into the side of the bed where we are laying. And the bump is still there, after nearly a month. Btw, this is not what the description promises. They state that this will level out, when unpacked correctly and left to self level for 48 hours or so. And that users will not “sink” into this “memory gel.” What do you actually get? A mattress topper with a bulge or camel hump down the entire vertical middle. And memory gel that quickly smashes down and causes you to sink. And also causes you to roll away toward the edges due to the bulge/hump. So NO, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO AMAZON CUSTOMERS. It is overpriced for the results and is packaged so poorly that the packaging seems to damage the product—which, once unpacked, is impossible to return. (Picture trying to return a bit into burnt pizza or try picture returning a huge Queen topper inside a box that would fit no more than 4-6 bath towels. Good luck). I ordered a king and it got rolled up, wrapped in plastic, and then put into a box. Upon arrival, the mattress topper slid nicely out of the box and a letter opener was included to help open the plastic without damaging the foam. As the topper expanded and unfolded it did have to off gas for about two days. I tried buying a mattress with the foam top and it never seemed to finish being all smelly and it triggered my asthma fiercely. This topper sat in the garage for two days and was put on my bed and I have had no health issues. This is saying a lot because I am sensitive and allergic to seemingly everything. It is big and sloppy to carry when fully expanded but it was easy to install. It has straps to keep it in place, too. Regardless, I sleep really well now that I have this foam topper. It seems to help support me very well and I don’t wake up feeling like I was hit by a truck nor do I have any pins and needles sensations as I sleep, so I will call it a win. ... show more

Review update!! After I posted my previous review I got a message from the seller asking me if I would like a 70% refund!! They were great about reaching out to me and addressing my concerns! I didn't reach out because by the time I wanted to return it, I had passed the return window so I'm glad they reached out to me, if you have concerns I would recommend reaching out to them even if it's past your window they have great customer service It didn't fit my queen mattress the topper seems to be a bit smaller, so be prepared for it to not fit correctly or for it to move because it's ill fitting, we also noticed it lifts at the edges so eventually you just roll towards the middle, does not cool at all it seems more of a topper to soften your current mattress ... show more

Depending on the mattress you have, you might find that there is some body heat retention with this topper. This topper is well made but my original mattress I used this topper on is older and didn't pair right and seemed to retain some body heat. I think for many people this won't be a real bother at all but the company worked with me and kindly resolved all my issues. For how expensive this was, I’m so disappointed in how quickly this product flattened, and we have only used it about a month. My husband and I are both small people, yet we both have started sinking so much, we fall into each other in the middle of the bed! I am a stomach sleeper and can’t sleep on my stomach with this mattress topper either, it just sinks too much. Didn’t really bother me at first, but it has definitely worsened. It’s supposed to be rotated every 6 months, but if it’s already doing this at 1 month. Worst yet, when I went to return it, it said we missed the return window by one day. You’d think they’d give you a larger window to see if you like it, like most mattress companies. I will be looking for a firmer 2 inch pad. In the meantime this was a complete waste of money, sadly. :( **I’m editing this to add more stars because of their great customer service. As soon as I posted my review, they reached out to me offering a 80% refund since I wasn’t happy, without even returning it. Purchased this to soften a firm mattress and for that, it kind of achieved that goal. However, the main issue is the chemical smell that still hasn't dissipated after a week. The chemical smell is so strong that we literally left it in a room by itself with the fan running for three days.
