    • I slept like a baby!
So it is important to follow the part that it says when you first unpack it to let the odor of the mattress topper go away for the first 48 hours. The smell was pretty strong for me. Although I did give it some time to air out, the smell did linger a bit. That was the one bad thing I did not like about this mattress topper. Other than that, sleeping on it felt really good. I have some back issues so this gave me some relief. I slept very comfortable, I did not want to even get out of bed in the morning, that was how good I slept. OK, mattresses and toppers are subjective. Starting with that point, I like a softer mattress, and my wife likes a firmer one. The mattress we have is considered firm. We needed a topper to even out the difference to allow both of us to get a good night's sleep. Not wanting to spend hundreds on a new mattress, we tried this topper and... Pros: The topper arrived and was packaged amazingly well. Not incredibly heavy, but it weighed enough to heighten my intrigue as to the quality. Opening the box, the vacuumed-wrapped topper was also inside another heavy-duty plastic bag. All in all, very well protected and condensed. The unpacking instructions were easy to follow and very helpful. We unpackaged the topper and laid it flat in our sunroom to expand and "breathe." We did NOT give it 48 hours, as, after a few hours, we detected no smell, and it appeared to be fully expanded. Later that evening, we placed it on our bed under the mattress pad and were very impressed with the included cover, which had a zipper to allow easy removal for washing when needed. The final "pro" was that this topper gave us the perfect night's sleep! The topper this replaced was a flat 2" memory foam. This one has the "egg crate" top that felt like little fingers that supported your body but gently compressed in exactly the right places for the small of your back, thighs, and upper back. Simply put, the comfort was immediately improved. We LOVE this topper! Cons: Absolutely NONE! Overall: If you aren't happy with your mattress and want to improve what you already have (and save money!), look no further. This is THE topper for all sleepers (back, side, stomach) and for MUCH less than buying a new mattress. One of the best night's sleep you can get for the price! You won't regret it! ... show more

I have a 12 year old mattress from ikea that has become lumpy and saggy I should get rid of it but haven’t yet. This is awesome for so many reasons. Probably the biggest and most important is comfort, high marks for that and the second is that it’s not too small! Every time I get mattress padding it’s smaller than my bed-not this one. And of course you can get away with a basically good mattress and throw this on top and make it a luxury mattress. ... show more
