I bought the Extrasleep 3 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper to place on top of an uncomfortably hard air mattress that I sleep on when I have a guest in my small apartment. I love the way it feels when I lay on it, like sinking into a cloud, and how it does not shift around and move like other mattress toppers I have used. One suggestion for improvement is to get rid of the straps to secure the topper to the mattress. They really did not do their job well, nor are they needed. Instead, replacing them with buckled straps to help keep the topper rolled up when in storage would be much more practical. I've really been sleeping well on this!! It's been so comfortable, supportive but soft but not too soft. Some toppers are so soft you feel like you can't hardly get out of the bed. I think this is perfect. I stay on top of it yet it softly gives way on pressure points of my hips and shoulders. I used to toss and turn quite a lot but I haven't since I got this because I feel comfortable right away. Also it had no smell at all, & it expanded evenly. I left it out overnight the first night on the living room floor just to be sure it had enough time to really expand ( it looked fine and ready to use right away but I didn't want to rush it and try sleeping on it, box says 24-48 hrs ) so I used it the second night. No issues, so far I'm very happy with it. πŸ‘πŸ™‚ For additional info I got the twin size and I weigh about 105lb. I have it on top of a simple medium firm ikea "bed in a box" 6 inch mattress and a standard box spring under that on standard bed frame. ... show more

I love this mattress topper so much! My mattress was so uncomfortable before I got this topper. I used to have neck, knee, and back pain after waking up in the morning. Now, I don't toss and turn. I also have no more body aches! I also feel well rested when I wake up.

It's nice for the first night. But mine flattened after 1 use. I bought in March, it's now June and I have a piece of splattered foam in my bed that causes me pain everytime I lay on it. It doesn't stay put, it moves and slides off the bed. Despite having the cover and straps tied down. The comfort cover doesn't really help, except to help it slide off the bed easier. There's no firmness to this topper. You lay, you sink, you hurt. This does not seem to hold heat, so that's a bonus i guess. I'm a hot sleeper, and I didn't overheat while laying on it. There is no back pain relief to this thing. It made my issues worse. Right now, I'm having to turn this every other day just to experience a little comfort. The quality is lacking. If you're a little heavier, this is NOT the topper for you. I believe this would be more suited to a small persons bed. Steer clear. Not worth your hard earned money. ... show more
