I ordered this beautiful king sized pillow top mattress pad for my sleep number bed. I bought my bed in 2006, and at the same time I bought one of their pillow top mattress pads. Well for 18 years I've had that same mattress pad on the bed, and it's been driving me crazy all that time! The problem with my pad was the slippage from my mattress ALL the time. Every morning I would have to pick up the middle and drag the excess back over the head of the bed and try and secure the elastic as best I could. Why did I do this every day? I don't know, it wasn't a priority to look for new bedding since I am very busy as a small business owner I guess! The "dragging procedure" just became my normal thing to do while making the bed. But when I saw this beautiful, fluffy black topper come up in my Amazon feed, and it was available in king with "deep pockets", I was intrigued. Then I saw how affordable it was and I figured why not? So I ordered it and washed it the day it arrived. There is a lot of fabric that's for sure! It gave my front loader a run for the money, but it fit just fine in the tub. My worry was that the batting would move all around and get lumpy after washing. Well, don't worry about that happening, because it washed up great! I did dry it a little bit, maybe 10 minutes on low heat. Then I just pulled it out and threw it over the living room couch and chair overnight to completely air dry. When I put it on the bed, total luxury was all I could think of! How soft and cozy and beautiful it was! The way the fabric on the skirting went over the mattress pockets was so secure compared to what I'm used to with my old topper. We've been sleeping on it for a few weeks now and I have never had to adjust the topper once, not even when I change the sheets! If you need a new mattress topper I urge you to consider this one by MASVIS. I don't think I could have found anything better, even if I searched all of Amazon and the mall stores for months! As someone who has debated on investing in a new mattress (which I don't have money for), give this mattress topper a try. You will be able to extend the life of your current mattress and have the best night of sleep. I am thrilled that I received this mattress topper as I put it on my bed the same day it arrived. The plastic wrap and instructions made it very easy to place on my mattress and roll it out. I did it all by myself! Does it smell a bit upon opening it up? Yes. Am I concerned? No. The smell has already dissipated significantly and is no different from the typical "new mattress smell" you have when getting a new mattress. I got this to add a little extra comfort to the master bed on my sailboat. I was able to successfully cut it with an electric knife to the correct shape. I also modified the cover to fit since the cover is awesome. I am pleased with how everything came out. I would have preferred something one click harder but I am happy with the medium level on this one. The straps are a great feature to keep it in place. It has improved the comfort of the bed which is great. Since I don’t sleep there often, I won’t have an idea of its longevity anytime soon. This 3 inch topper is absolutely wonderful and definitely worth every penny. We have a twin bed that our granddaughter sleeps in when she's over and it was starting to become very uncomfortable so we were thinking on purchasing another for it. I ran across this and decided to give it a try first and I'm so glad I did. She is 8 years old and suffers from night terrors quite frequently and needs me to lay down with her after an episode. I suffer with pain after a neck dissection from malignant melanoma and currently have a secondary tumor in my right hip and it is a constant battle getting comfortable on that twin mattress with her.....but not any more. We don't not move... either of us because you simply sink down and the memory foam forms around you with nothing but comfort. At first it may seem a little firm but after a few seconds it's a small piece of heaven. I would definitely recommend this product....over and over and over again!!! ... show more

This mattress topper is exactly what I expected. It is nice and thick as pictured and incredibly soft! It only took a day after taking it out of its packaging for it to get to full thickness. It didn't have any weird smells. It fits perfectly on my king bed. The straps that fit on the mattress are adjustable but it fit for me without adjustment. This topper is so soft you sink right into it, unfortunately my body does not like that and it actually made me more sore. Trying to get comfortable during the night was difficult because I sunk in and got "stuck" I do tend to move a lot in my sleep. My husband had a similar experience so while this is a high quality product it just doesn't work for our bodies. ... show more
