It doesn't blow like an air conditioner. It's like having a regular fan. Very disappointed in this item and unfortunately I bought two and my husband setup both of them instead of seeing how one works first.

Essentially a big fan. Cools the room a few degrees; but make no mistake this is NOT an air conditioner. Even if your room is small, I don’t recommend this instead of a window unit. The cooling function is a hassle to use. To keep the water cold enough you have to swap the ice packs every couple hrs… less if its really hot, buy extra if you don’t have any. I guess the humidifier aspect is nice. It’s easy to use/set up, basically unbox & plug it in. Seems to be put together well. I can see where it could be useful, but it is not as a main AC source for any bedroom if other options are available. ... show more

So it works. It really helped cool a hot lanai in Florida. I’d have given 5 stars but it doesn’t last long enough. If you’re not living in sweltering heat like Florida, it will probably not need to work so hard. Big bonus is not having to drain out a window or anywhere!!

With the ice pack and cold water, it still isn’t much different than a regular fan. It has failed to keep a 144 sqft room cool. Not impressed. Over priced.

The product came scuffed and dented in multiple places. Seemed like it was already used and then repaired? Not proper packaging. Am returning and not buying another.
