I guess my title pretty much tells you that there’s an issue with putting the three characters together to make into one big transforming character, and this is even with two adults who each tried to do it for the child of four almost 5 years old. I consider this a toy that a child may play with for a short while and then Forget about it, but as far as that goes the price is very reasonable. Playing with the three of them separately was fun for the little guy and he probably plays with it for a couple hours which keeps him from watching TV or playing on his tablet for a while and that is a good thing. ... show more

Very simple transformers. It's a simple toy, not like the complex transformer toys of old. They combine by separating two of the robots and attaches very easily. Mostly the kids play with it individually. They decently well made and should last a bit.

This 3 dog transforming robot set is decent, not more, not less. As another reviewer mentioned, the packaging could be improved as they were just sent in a brown cardboard box in some cheap thin flimsy plastic packaging. Not the easiest to transform and some of the joints are a little fragile so be careful not to apply too much force or you will be breaking off a limb. This set is really a 3 star, but since I am a frenchie owner and it contains a frenchie I’m giving this a 3.5 which rounds up to 4 star product. ... show more

    • Grandkids Lost Interest Quickly
3-in-1 Transforming Robot Toys - A STEM Educational Toy - all signs point to fun activity, building skills, and family working together to create! Again, this Grandpa wanted to have toys for the grandkids to enjoy when they visit. Well, I struck out on this toy! The visuals on the box of the 3 robots were a draw for me - these will be great fun. Inside were many unlabeled parts and a lack of instructions. What? Kids need instructions just like dads need them - especially to ignore. But, this is one of those times dads go looking for the instructions after 15 minutes of no progress and no idea what he's looking at. And this is where the young kids get bored and go play in the cushion fort that they've built from Grandpa's sectional. So dad, the engineer, is elected robot project manager and chief builder. The plastic and metal pieces came together slowly, but as stated in other reviews, these robots' joints were stiff, and getting them to move or transform only created frustration and disappointment. Any attempt to transform them led to lost limbs and lopsided stands - only on the robots, though. The individual bots were less tedious, but the kids carried their disappointment and weren't interested in playing with them. I do not recommend this toy for young kids nor any family that just wants to enjoy working together with their kids, building with their hands. ... show more

These are cute toys, but I wouldn't pay the $24 price in-store. I didn't really look at the dimensions, but they are only about 4 inches tall. Their parts move well, but they are mostly plastic. I'm not sure how well they will hold up when my 7 yr old grandson is playing with them. I'm giving these as part of his bday gift in September. I will update this review based on how well he likes them and how they hold up when he's run them through their paces. For now, too pricey for what you get. ... show more
