Some people complained about water buildup but in lower humidity I only had a few tablespoons of water in the collector over about a two month period. No leaks. Unit is light enough to lift on your own but theres not many lift points. I find that i have to grab the airvent and wire wrapping point to lift it. Not ideal but works. So after 2 weeks of waiting I see it's at my door, I drag the heavy b**** in. Finally get it out of the box thought I might start easy with the piece that goes into the window for the exhaust. Who thought a half a page instruction was sufficient to tell someone how to put it together. So in the end in this California heatwave almost throwing everything and frustration, decided just to use a good old duct tape. Next time measure your window twice purchase once. Also after the headache it's running fine nice and cool, only thing I could wish for if the remote control came with battery. It's a nice portable nigh stand size ... show more

Bought it for my home. My fault for not realizing it requires venting. Powerful air conditioner but throws a huge amount of heat. Gave it to my brother who is a builder. He loves it. I bought this unit in March and put it in the closet until the summer. Set it up and turned it on last week and left the house thinking I’d come home to a cool place and instead the room was almost 100° and the unit was so hot it burnt my hand. I can’t return it and can’t find anywhere to contact seller. If seller sees this and would like to help troubleshoot, that would be cool. I have so little money that I can’t just buy another one.
