    • Performance enhancer for snails! Snail steroids if you will...
So I thought mystery available just eat whatever was in the aquarium and they'd be cool... After doing some research I found that that's NOT the case and they need special food just like my picky betta. I bought this snail did when we bought our 2 mystery snails and let me just say, this is like snail steroids! One snail we bought was so small, the guy at the pet store didn't even charge me for it, and now that snail is so big it looks like a decorative shell in our tank! The other snail is MASSIVE now because of this food. Snails have an excellent sense of smell, when I drop this food in the tank they immediately come to eat from wherever they were hanging out. There's a lot of food in this small container, it'll last a long time. I thought $15 was a ridiculous amount to spend on snail food, but now I believe it's worth every penny! My neocaridina shrimp love these so much! They swarm from out of nowhere the second they hit the sand! Even the fish in the tank love to take nibbles! The price is definitely worth it. My shrimp have zero issues with incomplete molting and their exoskeletons are vibrant and shiny!

My snails love every color and never leave any to waste! My babies and adults head towards them as soon as they sink to the bottom of the tank. My snails are happy and healthy and I believe some of it has to do with this product!

All of my shrimp love these, but they make a mess. I suggest ordering a small glass jar to help contain it. Other wise they’re a hit with my shrimp!

Bought to help my mystery snail rebuild his shell after a rough start at the pet store. He went from harsh white lines all over his shell to perfectly chocolate brown stripes! Note that the white will not magically disappear, the new shell growth will be the difference! The ramshorns and bladder snails go running when I drop some in too! Even my betta fish takes a nibble here and there (of course the very pretty pink ones which are his favorite color). ... show more

    • ⚠️ Use With Caution: Led to Shrimp & Snail Deaths
I really wanted to love this product and was so excited to try it after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, every time I’ve added it to my tanks, I’ve lost a shrimp or snail shortly after. I tested this on multiple occasions — I can go weeks with no issues, but as soon as I add one of these, I find a loss the next day. This happened in more than one tank, so I know it wasn’t an isolated issue. I feed my shrimp and snails a variety of foods and treats without problems, but whenever I fed them this, I ended up with losses. For me personally, I just don’t feel comfortable trusting this product and won’t be using it again.
