i was so excited to get this, but when i put in my cricut explore air 2, my power light changed to white, so the machine would not except it. so back it goes. i wish they would test these things before the say what they work on

Just got home from work to find this at my door. So naturally, I had to put it to work. So far, with test runs, I love it. Very easy to use. Came with a few blanks to practice on. I would have given 5 stars however, no instructions came with. I did manage to find a partial picture on reviews that came with the reviews items, and a partial picture in the listing that was enough to piece together which tip to use. This info would be ideal to put onto your website as well as the ideas and tutorials that you already have. For those of you that don't get the information in your shipment and have cricut, place tool in slot B (where your blade normally goes). Use custom, and select heavy cardstock - 100. Normal pressure works wonderfully. That is the settings that I used for the blanks that came with. I have a circuit explore air 2! Of note, this function is not warrantied by circuit, and actually voids it. I've have this particular machine for 3 years, so my warranty period is up. ... show more

I finally got around to trying out this tool. I was so busy at the holidays, but excited to finally use it!! Originally, I ordered the tool for the Silhouette 4, my return for the correct tool was prompt and hassle free. This worked amazingly!!! This is a very easy tool to use and I would highly recommend using it and watching the YouTube videos if you need assistance. Game changer for sure! ... show more

When I found this I thought it was great. Getting more detail in my pieces would be ideal. The tags that came with the product were in find condition and the set came well packaged. Unfortunately I had issues right away. You have to have specific cut settings (not engrave) and when I think the blade is set, it drops unexpectedly so it jams the system. The system is smart, it won't move if there's something blocking the way, but I had to turn my maker off and hold it upside down to get the blade back in the holster so I can move the carriage to take the thing out. I take the whole piece out and reinsert it, tightening it as much as I can and it feels strong again. I hold it upside down, even tap it a few times or tug. All seems good, so I tried again and the same thing happened, it got jammed. Definitely returning it before I do any real damage. ... show more
