I really like this bassinet -vert sturdy -doesn’t feel cheap -vert easy assembly it came with probably 4 separate parts maybe, everything snapped into place. No tools required. -very easy to move the bassinet around on carpet -it’s huge, so you probably would get longer use out of this bassinet opposed to other options as baby gets bigger (main reason why I purchased it) Cons -no storage at the bottom (I should’ve paid attention to that but I’ll just get a caddy to hang from it) -the sides are not mesh, that kind of concerns me. But I wake up a lot in the middle of the night & check on him often. I just think a breathable mesh around the whole bassinet would’ve made for a better/safer design. Overall it’s worth the purchase those cons listed aren’t the manufacturer fault. they’re just little things I’d like on it. Or things for other people to consider when purchasing. ... show more

Purchased this bassinet after struggling to find a sleep solution for my son. My daughter slept great is a bassinet, but my son wasn't content with a regular bassinet and only slept best when one of us was touching him. After having a C-section, it was difficult to keep a hand on him (while any of us got any sleep!) with a regular bassinet. We tried an in-bed bassinet, but neither my husband nor I felt safe with him sleeping in the bed with us. I was hesitant to spend money on ANOTHER bassinet that I would only be using for about another month, but after much searching and researching, I decided to give this bedside sleeper a try, especially since it would allow me to be able to keep a hand on our boy if I needed to. We've been using it for almost 2 weeks now, and so far it is great! Everyone is getting sleep and we feel comfort knowing we are doing it safely! The height is just perfect to come up to our mattress and makes getting him in and out very easy! PROs: - It was easy to assemble. It came in and I had it assembled within 20 minutes. It comes in a nice carry bag (see picture) , but I'm not sure what for... You have to do a bit of disassembling to pack it back up. The carry bag does however help deter and keep my pesky cats out of it during the day! (apparently they don't realize I didnt buy it for them) - The mattress isn't hard as a rock! It it supportive and soft to the touch. My son has slept great on it. - We use an under-matress motion sensor and the mattress allows for that. - High quality! The materials are high quality and do not feel cheap. CONs: - Depending on your area, it is a little large. I have it butted up against my night stand, and it ends about Âľ of the way down our bed. While it has wheels, I can't release the locks while in the bed, so it makes it difficult to move if I need to get up in the middle of the night. Plus, I don't want to move it and wake up a sleeping baby! Instead I have to try to crawl/squirm down to the foot of the bed, and try not to wake my son in the process. - The amount of mesh. The mesh lining is only on the side the rolls down for the bedside. However, the size overall is large, so you'd really have to have a child on the move to make it to the edges (as you can see in the one picture; my son is about 24" long and 13 lbs for reference). It isn't a deal breaker/concern for me, but may be for some. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a bedside bassinet! ... show more

I'm loving this bedside sleeper so far. We have a one week old at home and she's doing great in it. Its way bigger thI expected but thats a plus cause we can use it longer as our little gets bigger. Im excited to see how it works as a playpen when she gets older. I love how I have easy side access at night. I had a c-section and have to use the actual crib for support when sitting up to get my little when she needs me at night and it holds up to me leaning on it as I pull myself up. It has wheels that glide easily or lock in place if you want it stationery. It also comes with an anchor for the bed. We don't use it right now because our little is just a newborn but I imagine it helps to steady the crib once baby gets bigger and moves around more. The legs retract on one side,incase you need them to when pushing up against a bed, while still keeping stability overall. You can tilt it at an angle for kiddos that have tummy issues so thats nice as well. The mattress is firm yet soft. Its just the right thickness. The only draw back I would knock it for would be the lack of any sort of storage. Stretch nets on the sides would be helpful to hold diapers and wipes or whatever you need close by in the middle of the night. We have attached a basket that came with our playpen and thats been a perfect compromise as it just clips right on the railing. This bed is super easy to put together/take apart and the instructions are easy to read. I love that we can break it down and take it with us and that it comes with its own carrying case. Easy assembly. We’ve been using it for 3 months now and it’s great! I also love that the side goes down for easy access to baby. Only downside is that the wheels lock too easily, I move mine around quite often and it’s annoying because the wheels lock on their own.
