  • Wish I had bought one sooner. Get it if you had a c-section
Color: 3.0s Grey
This thing is amazing. I got a free Snoo bassinet from my employer but I hated it. I had a c-section so I looked up the brand bassinet that was used in the hospital and saw that it was a halo. Two of the things I really loved about the one in the hospital were: 1. It could swivel to me so I could pull the bassinet to me from the hospital bed, which was SO helpful while recovering from surgery. 2. The side of the bassinet is collapsible so I could pick up baby from the bassinet so easily. The weight of my forearms would collapse the side of the bassinet while I was picking her up - so I didn’t have to use my abdominal muscles at all. Some additional features this one has that I love: The sides are mesh so I don’t have to worry about baby rolling over and not being able to breathe if he face is against a side. The height is perfect for pulling over a bed. The bassinet basket is removable! We took it off of the base and brought it to a hotel so baby could still sleep in a familiar space. It has several sound and vibration settings. I love using the heartbeat sound for my baby. Helps her fall asleep. The size is good and as a bassinet, it is the most functional one I’ve had. I wish I had bought one for my first two c-sections. It is a bit on the heavier side - but only if you have to carry it around. If you keep it stationary next to your bed and just deal with the swivel function, it is a piece of cake! I love it and this is seriously one of the best items I’ve purchased post c-section. It is a worth every penny. Also highly recommend the halo swaddles. This company has got sleep down pat for babies! ... show more

  • So excited about these updates!
Color: Dove Grey Tweed
We used an older Halo Bassinest model in the past for our older daughter and loved it. I felt at peace knowing she was safe and I loved having her close. I never worried about SIDS or suffocation risks because of the flat mattress, mesh sides, and super sturdy frame. We never used any of the electronic features and didn’t really feel like we needed any of them. We also wanted to avoid creating any unnecessary sleep associations, so we didn’t really use the vibrating feature. We’re expecting our youngest in three months, and I am absolutely thrilled this newer model comes with the option to detach the stand so you can move the bassinest around the house for naps or use it while traveling. I also love that you can remove and wash the fabric in the washer! I’ll post updates as we use this newer model with our youngest but so far upon setting it up, I’m so pleased! It’s beautiful, sturdy, and well-designed. The only hiccup we had was when assembling the bassinet. One of the curved rods that supports the fabric sides was just ever so slightly bent in at the end enough to make it difficult to connect into the other piece to complete the assembly of the frame. We had to use some needle nose pliers wrapped in fabric to fix the dent without scratching the frame, and then we were able to connect the two top rails together. Not a big deal to me, but this bassinet is pricy for having this issue. Testing out the process of taking the bassinet on and off the stand was something I was curious about (as there were no prior reviews on Amazon at the time of our purchase) but it works pretty easily! The bassinet bed comes off the stand fairly easily and it’s fairly fool-proof connecting it back together. Since you can’t really look under the bassinet while your holding it to see where it should connect into the stand, they more or less designed a big funnel shape to help guide you into the right spot. It clicks when it’s locked in. It was much easier to use than I thought it would be. Now time to wait for baby to come!! ... show more

  • Life saving!
Color: 3.0c White
If you’re like me and feeling like there’s no way this could be worth the money… I can assure you it is! I made the mistake of putting a much cheaper option on my registry which my baby hated! I lost lots of sleep for 8 weeks getting about 4-6 hours a night as we ended up bed sharing. I finally got tired of sleeping with no comforter so I convinced my mom and sister to split the halo with me (which I was still very skeptical of) and she slept great the very first night! The first night she went straight to sleep (I didn’t have to spend any time comforting her) and she woke up twice, with about 3 hours of sleep between each wake). I am now getting 7-8 hours of sleep with only about 1 wake up for a feed a night. She also naps in it very well, and I’m confident it will help with sleep training once we get to that age. Don’t be like me and go with a cheaper option first… start with the Halo and save your sanity. ... show more

  • A bit bulky
Color: Bassinest Swivel Sleeper - 3.0
Overall, the HALO BassiNest Swivel Sleeper 3.0 is a very convenient and well-designed bassinet. The swivel feature makes it easy to bring the baby close at night, especially for feeding or checking on them without getting fully out of bed. It feels sturdy, looks nice, and the breathable mesh sides give good visibility. I’m giving it 4 stars because it is a bit bulky and takes up more space than expected especially at the base. But overall a great choice for newborn phase. ... show more

  • DONT BUY IT Wakes up baby and is just overall a waste of money!
Color: 3.0c White
Really disappointed with this purchase. I splurged big time thinking this bassinet would be great and it isn’t. *The sounds aren’t soothing and they only have a certain amount of hours until they turn off and one night they cut off and woke my baby up after I had JUST gotten him down again. *It doesn’t fit under the bed. The legs stick out really far and we trip on them. *Actual buttons we can see would be nice. *Baby hates the movements they’re too jerky and makes him scream. He is almost 15 lbs now and still hates it. *Can only turn bright display light off on app and comes on every time you select a new feature. Disturbs baby. *It looks like the bed is tilted and uneven My old $100 bassinet was much better! ... show more

  • Don't waste money on the "soothing" version
Color: 3.0s Grey
The only difference between Soothing Swivel Sleeper 3.0 and Swivel Sleeper 3.0 is they additionally provide this device which you attach to the same bassinet. The former is $300 and latter is $220 suggesting this device costs $80. This device does the following: 1. Lights: there are 2 pairs of led lights, one pointing down to the floor and one pointing into the bassinet from the side where the baby sleeps. When the bassinet is turned and is on the bed, the bottom lights are blocked entirely. Both the lights are pretty useless. You are better off with a night light you can remote control. 2. Soothing sounds: These are very low in volume and you have 4-5 options. There are way better options out there which can have multi uses. This device is stuck to the bassinet, so it can't be reused. 3. Vibration: This is honestly the biggest joke/gimmick. There are 2 levels/intensity of vibration. You can barely feel these vibration on the bassinet but the problem is it is very loud! I definitely won't be able to sleep with this on. I honestly can't imagine my baby (not here yet as of this writing) will like these vibrations. So $80 for a bunch of useless features. Don't waste your money on this. There was a deal during prime day where I bought this for $210 which is $10 less than the Swivel Sleeper 3.0, hence I am keeping it. Coming to the Swivel Sleeper/bassinet itself, the legs are extremely wide, way wider than what you can imagine. So based on the height of your bed, the legs may or may not entirely go under the bed. Either ways, getting in and out of the bed is not easy, especially when you are recovering from a child birth. I'll post an update once the baby is here and when I start using this. TL;DR: The soothing device which is about $80 isn't worth the money. The bassinet itself is fine but the legs are extra large and take up a lot of space. ... show more
