100% would recommend this for newborns +. The rocking motion keeps my son asleep until he’s in the deep sleep. This was a game changer when he was just a few weeks old. Sound machine is okay, several lullabies and then a couple ocean/water sounds, which we prefer. The sound and rocking motion lasts about an hour. We are still using this at 3.5 months. I spent a lot of time looking for a bassinet. I wanted something practical that could be moved from the bedroom to the living room and not break the bank. This bassinet is so much more than that! The wheels work great but the best part of this bassinet is the swaying and music. Whenever she gets a little fussy I turn on the swaying and she sleeps for another couple hours. The quality of this product is so poor, I almost stopped the assembly half way through. The rocking engine is so small and weak, you barely notice its moving at all. Waste of time and money.

Update: So after using this thing for a bit, I like it more. I was originally miffed at the false advertising for the direction of the gliding, but I have to say, this thing puts our baby to sleep in no time! He sleeps most nights a week without the rocking, but when he fusses we pull the app up and turn it on from the other room and it buys me another couple of hours rest before I need to nurse him again. The app is not the best- it's simple to use but we have to restart it often and push the buttons multiple times to get it to turn on. But once it does it's great. I added another star. Original: I ordered this as a transition before the crib. We loved our Rock N' Play but we aren't going to use that with our 2nd kid for obvious reasons. So I saw this and decided to get it. It was easy to put together and I like all the storage. The bluetooth was easy to set up. However, I am really disappointed in the false advertising of the gliding motion. The video shows the bassinet gliding in a north south direction, in a forward motion. This thing actually only "glides" side to side, and only a little, and it isn't totally level so it can wobble. Well, not wobble, but rock and thump a bit. My baby liked it fine (he was fascinated by the swinging mobile) while awake, but not sure how it will go once we get him in there at night. Not sure I will use the motion at night now. Since that's the case, I wish I would have gone with a regular sturdier bassinet because like others have commented, the music isn't great and the gliding motion is wonky. This is by far the best bedside bassinet we have had yet (on baby #3). It was incredibly easy to assemble, reasonably priced for everything it offers and gives me peace of mind knowing baby is in their own safe sleep space at just an arm's reach away. Was really excited that I could access this bassinet with my mobile device but the app is not compatible with my android as my phone is too new the only androids that could use this feature would have to be 2021 or older for it to work which is kind of a let down and I would def buy some kind of pad and your own fitted sheet as the bed portion is very hard and the fitted sheet that comes with is not well made but other than that it was easy to put together and is well made ... show more
