Three channel as advertised. The third channel wire is really long and can be installed on back side for rear monitoring. Overall, worked well starts recording as soon as your car is on. I suggest setting up date and time for first time. After that it remembers it. I have used this mainly for loop recording whenever my car is on but has option for motion recording and parking monitor too. I already got rearview in my car. Says 3 stream, front, interior and rear, but nothing written on setting up rear camera. There is a red wire at the camera but no instruction on how to connect, probably need to connect to reverse light but I want it on all the time. System also cannot be set up to record 3 streams.
