i got this from my dentist a few years back, and thought it was time to use it again. happy that i found it on amazon. I had my trays from 3 years ago, and this time just ordered the 9%. at first i noticed my gums were stinging a bit - not nice. i read on the Discuss Dental web site that the teeth trays do not need to cover the gum line, mine did, so i trimmed them to just cover my teeth. problem solved. regarding quantity, I'm getting 7 to 8 applications from one syringe. on the packet it says 3 applications per syringe. basically i only really needed one packet with three syringes not the two packets that i got. i only put gel on the front facing side of the tray (don't need bleach on the back of my teeth). my trays cover all my teeth, i exclude the back two teeth from bleaching since my smile no matter how big never shows those teeth. maybe that's why i get so much use from a single syringe. last note, the results are pretty quick, my teeth after 6 applications are noticeably whiter. By the end of this week, they'll be as white as this page :) ... show more

Needs ongoing use (if we don’t brush after dark drinks). Will sting— less is okay. Check each tooth’s quantity. Easier by 4th application. Good results.

This actually works well and it must be genuine because it didn't cause as much sensitivity as other brands due to Philips using both ACP and potassium nitrate (the ingredient in sensitive toothpaste).

I have been using Day White for many years and it works very well for me. I have had no sensitivity in my teeth. It does burn my tongue which is very sensitive. But the results are definitely worthwhile. I used to use the 14% version but now I have switched to the 9.5% solution. I can use it once a day instead of twice. Save time and money and it works just as well. My only concern is the high cost. ... show more
