I should’ve gotten this a long time ago. I have already gotten my moneys worth out of this impact. The head is t super slim but definitely not bulky. Just enough to get into spots you need to get most of the time. If it can’t get into that hard spot then most likely it’s one of those spots that is going to need a special slim design tool anyways. Impact doesn’t Drain the battery extremely fast, I would say just like a normal impact would. This impact feels pretty good in your hands and has a decent grip feel to it to use all day. The speed settings are in the grip of the impact so the harder you squeeze the faster it goes which is good for those times you need to clutch break some nuts off of an old rust bolt. And I’ll tell you what this thing had guys at my work laughing at me for not spending hundreds on the name brand until it took off nuts of an old 86 bronco that I’m restoring. Some nuts I had to clutch drip it to loosen but I expected that for a 3/8 impact anyways. Even the name brand smaller batteries wouldn’t have been able to break those nuts off but this one did without having to bring out the big dog. It had the gas tank dropped in no time on the 86 bronco like it was almost brand new bolts. After that the guys that were talking smack about it were the ones asking for the link after I told them how much I paid haha. The fact that you can even put any size of 20v xr batteries on it is a game changer for me. Need extra power or juice for a long day? Slip the big battery on or change to the smaller size to drop some weight off it for handling or getting in spots. That’s what I love about this design- it’s not just limited to one specific battery like some other brands that use the small micro ones. All in all it was a great buy for the price. I’ve always wanted one of these and finally pulled the trigger on this one because of the price and battery design because I have so many impact and drill batteries that would be swap able into this one or the other name brand impact while I worked. But honestly when I used this for a jeep oil cooler it worked wonders and i didn’t even have to switch to another design impact, I just used this only. The light on the head aims perfectly into those spots you’re going for and the coating on the head is pretty good so far. I have beat this thing up in a matter of a couple months and it has survived me so it gets my approval haha the durability is amazing on such a good price. I would definitely recommend this one (and have already shared the link 5 times to coworkers 😅) if you are searching. Honestly just go for the buy and you won’t be disappointed. The design is just as good as those $300 ones that are basically the same thing. And this is brushless motor so that’s even better in the long run!! ... show more

I just replaced the struts in my SUV and when I was finished I said man I wish I had a cordless ratchet because that job would have taken way less time. I researched and then ordered this unit right afterwards. I was skeptical of how good this could be for the money but I was very pleasantly surprised. First off this thing is HEAVY from the amount of steel. It feels expensive and could double as a weapon. Way more power than I've needed for anything yet and that includes freeing some very stubborn and stuck bolts on a different project on my car. Standard DeWalt batteries fit perfectly as expected and the color is also a perfect DeWalt yellow if you care about that kind of thing. My only slight gripe is that there's no separate speed range selector so the handle is the sole way to control speed. It's very sensitive so until you get your muscle memory locked in, it's a bit challenging to use it at low speed at first. Not a huge deal. It came with a nice mix of sockets that I didn't use because I have so many already but if you're just starting out it covers your standard and most popular sizes. Case looks great and zips up nicely for storage. I can't speak as to reliability yet but I'll update my review if anything goes wrong. This is one powerful cordless brushless 3/8” drive ratchet. The torque is fantastic and does the job. It is also compatible with DeWalt 20V max batteries. Great price. It advertised 94ft-lb torque. When I got it There was nothing on the box, booklet, or ,ratchet indicating the torque. I contacted them and they sent a picture of these putting out as much as 110ft-lb of torque. And after using it on my A/C compressor clutch change out I believe it is putting out 94ft-lb of torque. ... show more

I'm guessing it's actually closer to 35-40lbs, but it's built solid enough to handle some extra muscle if you need it. It almost seemed like it had more torque when I first used it, but then the power faded after just a couple bolts. I didn't expect that 74 ft-lb number to be realistic anyway. For a shade tree mechanic, it does everything I need at a third the price of a Dewalt. I won't go cheap on impacts or drills, but this is more of an occasional use tool that should last a while. Overall, it does seem like a better tool than I was expecting. It replaced one transmission, but let's see if it lasts. ... show more

I had to do an exhaust on my motorcycle and was hoping this could sneak in to the headers and get the nuts off the studs. It was a bad time and sadly this was too big for the space. This is way better than the other cheaper brands. You'll break two of those before breaking this one. Review of 3/8" Cordless Ratchet Wrench, Compatible with DEWALT 20V MAX Battery, 74Ft-Lbs Brushless Motor Electric Ratchet with Variable Speed, 1/2" & 1/4" Adapters, 3" Extension Bar (Tool Only) I ordered this during Black Friday week. I am no mechanic. I am not much of a handyman. But I am poor enough that I have to do repairs on my own whenever I can. Having had a wrist injury, I found this to be a helpful addition to what tools I have. This works with my DeWalt batteries. It does not come with any batteries. It will get into some tighter areas. It has a built-in light to help see into those tight areas. Some of the controls are a little odd to me. It’s only in their positioning. The ratchet switch to change the forward and reverse mode is near the tool’s top end (towards the socket holder). It’s a hand squeeze to activate the tool. It doesn't spin really fast, so I suppose that helps the torque. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but so far, I am pleased. There is no case, so to speak, that comes with it, so I have it stored in the box it was packaged in. Some type of case would’ve been nice. The adapters that come with it are of the quality one would expect at this price point. I cannot see it breaking lug nuts free, but I think it will work for most applications. ... show more
