Do not know if the polarization is normally the way they are on this battery, but when plugging it into a a microcontroller board, I noticed that the plug had the positive and negative flipped. I had to flip the polarity on the battery in order for it to work on my microcontroller. Wasn't too hard to do and didn't need any soldering, just taking the leads out and switching them while being careful not to short it. But Definitely something to pay attention to. Besides that the battery has worked great and the battery life is also great. No problems charging it or using it for the past few months. ... show more

This one has 2 wires red and black while original battery has 3. You will have to cut connectors and keep yellow wire not connected to the side with electrical black tape. The back case once opened will have to be shaved down so this batter fits. It's almost 3 times the size of original battery which sucks. ... show more

I buy 606090 4000mAh batteries all the time - I discharge test them from 4.2v to 3.2v and they give me about 4200mAh. I test this 706090 at 0.1c (0.4 amps discharge), yes it is thicker than a 606090, but the capacity is the same. I got 4258mAh. Manufacturers test the battery by measuring from 4.2v to 3.0v so I'm not suggesting it wouldn't reach 5000 if I go to these bad low volts... I'm just saying 606090 performs the same as the 706090 I bought here. ... show more
