Unit works well and I like that fact that is has a dispenser instead of having to scope the ice out. The nuggets are of a good size and consistency. Is a little on the pricey side but it has delivered some quality & quantity of ice. I found if you don't let the machine rest (i.e. don't shut down the make ice cycle overnight) the machine will make some Halloween noises on you. So, turn it off when you're not using it. Tube is provided to refill or top of the machine with water but that is a little funky and unwieldy to use. I just pop off the front cover and refill with a table glass. I run a clean cycle either using the provided with the citrus packs or a liquid cleaner also purchased on Amazon. Not that the machine called for it or that the machine was showing any signs of distress, only as a precaution. Again, did pay a more than average price for this machine and want it to last. Emptying the machine is easy with the 2 water tubes that you simply unhook from the top and let them lay into the sink. No trying to reach underneath the machine to fine a difficult plug to work or having to tip the machine over to get the water out. Overall, really like the machine and came in handy when our LG refrigerator's ice maker couldn't keep up with a family of 4 on hot days.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this ice maker for a while now, and while it does some things well, serious flaws make it hard to recommend. Pros: 1. Quick Ice Production: It consistently makes ice in about 15 minutes, which is excellent when you need ice quickly. 2. Ice Quality: It produces nugget ice that is high-quality and consistent, perfect for drinks. 3. Ease of Use: Setting it up was simple, and the interface is straightforward, though the clean button can sometimes be tricky to activate. 4. Energy Efficiency: It doesn’t seem to use much power, which is a plus. 5. Build Quality: The device feels solid and well-made for the most part. Cons: 1. Tray Design Flaw: The tray that catches water and ice is poorly designed—it constantly falls off, which is frustrating. 2. Noise Issues: While it makes the usual noise during ice production (which isn’t bothersome), the machine has a serious flaw: it randomly produces loud, disruptive noises that are impossible to ignore. The only way to stop the noise is to unplug it; even then, it often starts back up shortly after. 3. Defective Replacements: I contacted customer service about the noise, and while they responded quickly, their tone was dry and lacked empathy. They sent me a replacement unit, but within a week, the new unit had the same problem. I was told they would send me another replacement when I contacted them again. At this point, I’ve lost faith in the product. Why would I want another defective unit? Overall Value: While the ice maker works as promised in terms of ice production, the loud, random noise, and poor customer service make this product hard to recommend. It’s disappointing because when it works, it’s excellent—but this seems to be a systemic product issue. Final Thoughts: If you’re willing to risk dealing with the noise and repeated replacements, this might be worth trying for the ice quality. But for me, the frustration has outweighed the benefits. Until the manufacturer addresses this design flaw, I cannot recommend this ice maker.

Love the ice -- small little nuggets that are easy to chew and great in your drink! Very much like Sonic ice. Yes, I got some Sonic ice for the comparison. :) The level of customer service the company provides is very rare these days. Yvonne answered all our questions about cleaning and set up and, when the machine had some issues, she volunteered to set up a warranty claim. I didn't even have to ask. A new machine was sent out immediately and arrived three days later. Very happy with the ice and the customer service Yvonne has provided. I would recommend the machine and the company because the ice is great and, even though the machine had issues, the company stands behind the product.

The media could not be loaded. Makes good nugget ice and the dispenser is good. Reason as to why im rating low is because this is my second one. The first one after a year started making a very loud cranking sound. After some back and forth they sent me a replacement free of charge but i had to haul my old one to ups. The replacement lasted 1 yr and started making a loud squeaking sound. The machine is awesome but the fact that it doesnt last even if you maintain it doesnt make it worth the price

Nice ice but only holds enough for maybe 1 or 2 glasses. Soon as you get that you’re waiting for several minutes for more. Mine has also started running all the time. Something maybe wrong with this unit. At this point I would definitely not recommend this machine. Update: 3-27-23 Unit running all the time. Still barely ice for 1/2 glass. This morning the unit had leaked water all over counter. I have a request to seller for problems waiting on reply. 4-6 Confirmation for sending out a replacement unit. New unit works as expected. Nice ice just not much of it stored as I would like for party use. However 1/2 a glass of ice at a time is more than enough. Happy with it overall. 11-23 The motor the runs the ice drum overheats and that’s where the squealing comes from. There is a fan on the motor but it is not adequate to keep the motor cool. May try to vent cabinet next to motor fan to see if that helps. Still making ice fine but gets to hot especially with high ice use.

We love the ice and it is very easy to set up and clean. My only complaint is it doesn't have the output amount that my previous ice machine did. I had one of the infamous Opal machines and although it was troublesome, it always had a full bin of ice. With this machine, there is no way to know how much ice is available. I like that the ice seems to be kept from germs of the bin opening and closing to shovel ice out of the machine. This machine has a great way of dispensing ice. I just wish it made more to dispense.
