This two-pack of garage door remotes works well with my Chamberlain system and pairs quickly using the learn button. The range is strong, the compact size fits easily on the visor, and the rolling-code security is a nice upgrade. The build quality feels solid, and the long-lasting lithium battery is convenient. However, despite being advertised as universal, it does not work with every model—especially older dip-switch units—so compatibility should be checked carefully. Still, for supported systems, it’s a reliable and affordable replacement option.

These are programmable garage door openers and presumably work nicely for Craftsman garage door openers, but WILL NOT work for my Genie system, no matter how many workarounds I tried to get it to work - they simply won't talk to each other. Otherwise, seems like any standard opener and likely works well for LiftMaster systems. But I take issue with the "universal" claim when it's definitely not.

These Airteltek Garage Door Opener Remotes are nearly identical to a 3-button LiftMaster 893LM. I have programmed these to work with a Liftmaster 8160 Series garage door opener. I was able to program the first/large button to open/close the garage door without any problems using the included Airteltek instruction sheet. I was also able to program the second/middle button to turn on/off the light on the Liftmaster garage door opener. PROS: Once programmed, the 3-button Airteltek Remote seems to function identically to a 3-button LiftMaster 893LM. The Airteltek programming instructions that came with the remote are accurate and work fine for opening the garage door. I had to do something different to program the light, but it wasn’t too hard. The wire clips for the Airteltek seems stronger and better than the LiftMaster 893LM wire clips. CONS: The only significant difference in these remotes is the brightness of the LED that is built into the remote. The Airteltek remote is not as large and as bright as the LiftMaster 893LM remote. This can be seen in the comparison photo, even when the LED is not lit. NOTE: In order to make this remote work with the garage door opener light (only), I went through steps 1-4 from the Airteltek instructions. In step 5, I did not press the Learn button on the opener, but instead pressed the LIGHT and LOCK button on the door control, as outlined in the LiftMaster 891LM, 893LM Instruction sheet found at the LiftMaster website. I would recommend that Airteltek add this to their instruction sheet and include a downloadable PDF of the instruction sheet on the Amazon page for this product.

These remotes paired quickly with a compatible Chamberlain opener and worked reliably with good range. The compact design is easy to keep in the car, and battery life has held up well. However, they are not universal as advertised and won’t work with models that use DIP switches, so compatibility needs to be confirmed first. For supported systems, they function well, but the “universal” label is misleading.

Perfect spare pair of garage door openers. I have a Chamberlain LiftMaster and these remotes were compatible and function as expected. Instructions were easy to follow, very easy to setup. The build quality feels good and the buttons are easy to use. Solid value for a two pack.
