This is my FIRST time crafting with polymer clay. These tools are a great kit. I don’t have the pasta machine yet but the roller has worked great and rolls as as thin as you can make it. The cutters cut with a clean edge and you get 2 sizes! I’m using the acrylic panels to square up my square canes , and I’m not even sure what they are for but they work great for that! The styluses sturdy and have helped me rescue some clay out of my press but will be great for creating texture when I get that far! ... show more

This is exactly what I needed to form some tiny characters I was attempting to make. The blades are sharp, and need to be for cutting small flower petals and duck beaks. The roller works very well and it was nice to have the plexiglas plates to set the items on as I was creating them. I used the needle detail tool the minute I opened it. It was exactly what I needed to form indentations in leaves and petals. I was just as impressed with the packaging. The set came in a sturdy, reusable box. I keep seeing all these nifty polymer clay creations and decided to try it. I started this past weekend with a mokume design, the kind that involves slicing thin sheets from a block. The flat blades are *sharp*. I put the block on the acrylic sheet and started with the knife and it slipped and I got my thumb. I didn't realize till it started bleeding. It did wonderfully on the clay but don't be like me, keep an eye on where the knife blade is going and make sure your clay won't move before cutting! I bought this kit to start making polymer jewelry and it is perfect starting kit. It had all the tools I needed to start knocking out earrings minus the clay itself. You should know it is insanely sharp I have the injury to show for it. But truly this is totally a steal of a deal!
