I don’t have anything to compare these molds to other than those I have made. These work great and I very happy with them. I’ve used each mold at least 10 times making cutting boards and charcuterie boards. I apply a generous amount of a spray mold release, and the wood and epoxy comes out quite easily. This is a great product.

The media could not be loaded. First of all I LOVE beating the cured tray out of the mold instead of peeling it out. Not only is this thing not going to ever rip, scratch, or get stained, but it’s so incredibly strong, perfectly sealed (no cracks or anything it’s one solid piece), and easy to clean (I use pieces of lint roller tape and soapy cold water, then alcohol and prime with oil or vaseline for demolding). It’s really deep but I have yet to even go up to 1inch thickness because I haven’t had the need. I recommend these trays highly and would order again but they’re so durable I may never need to!

These are good molds to get started with small projects and learn how to epoxy. Don’t forget to use a release agent or you will have a difficult time getting the mold off.

Did a pour in the smaller one right away. Came out perfect and I tested it without mold release of any kind. Came right out. Seems like it'll hold shape and last a very long time. Why pay so much more?

The mold warped after 1st use. The cured product was bowed and therefore was not flat. Required LOTS of sanding to get the piece remotely flat.
