These Eastpuk auger drill bits are great for quickly digging small holes for planting, and they work for helping to dig much deeper holes for setting 4x4 posts. One thing that really stands out about these auger drill bits are how heavy duty they are. These are really well made out of some heavy gauge steel, nice clean welds mean these auger bits will stand up to some serious punishment, you're not going to snap these things in half when you inevitably hit a stone while digging. They come in either black or orange so I went with the orange, as you can see in the picture I posted, that bright orange really stands out, making these auger bits very easy to spot if you happen to leave them laying outside. I build decks from time to time and there are times when I'm in a spot where I need to do some manual hand digging and I'll usually take a long ½ inch twist drill bit to help to loosen the ground up, I'm looking forward to having these auger bits in my tool arsenal the next time I run into a situation where I'll have to do some hand digging. I took the largest of the 3 different sized bits that you get ,out to my backyard and it really chewed straight thru the ground and I had a decent starter hole in no time. I could see attaching these to a long wobble extension as well to really get all you can out of these bits. I loved that all I had to do was use the old garden hose to clean up the bit after using it, the dirt and mud fell right off and the bit was as good as new just like that. I would for sure recommend these Eastpuk auger bits for pros and for those who like to DIY small projects in the yard when you want to dig small holes quickly without all the manual labor it would take without a tool like this.

I recently got the 3 pack Auger Drill Bits for planting & for putting posts in the ground, & they’ve made gardening way easier. The different sizes, 1.6x8.7, 2x14.6, and 4x11.7, cover pretty much any planting job, from bulbs to small posts. They fit my 3/8" hex drive drill perfectly & through soil much faster than using a hand trowel. The build quality feels solid, & they hold up well even in slightly tougher ground. I especially liked how quickly I could make neat, consistent holes for planting, it saves a ton of time. My only minor gripe is that the larger bit can be a bit tricky in really rocky soil, but that’s more about the ground than the tool. Overall, these auger bits are a great addition to any gardener’s toolkit, fast, sturdy, & super convenient.

We love these. They are just so aptly suited for the tasks we do in the yard. We have a large yard and love to plant bulbs and no things, but sometimes we have to deal with pesky weed barrier (large yard, so it had a large plan). These attached easily to the front of our drill and the boys can help me get new bulbs in the ground in a jiffy with the smaller auger. We just drill into the ground, it's just about the right depth, pop in the bulb and move on. The larger one is just about right for smaller plants and the same works just as you'd expect - drill through the weed barrier, perfect hole ready to go, back it out with softened soil, and easily have the space for the plant. I can even go along a row and make the hole for my kids, then they go behind and pop in the plants. It's quick and easy and makes yard chores a breeze. No complaints from us, so a solid 5 stars!
