I cannot compare them to battle ropes because I have never used them. But ... At first I was skeptical if these are any good for some -more or less- serious workout. They just looked like some selfdefense 'weapon' of sorts. Having used them for a little while now, I can attest that indeed, they are great for a decent workout. In the beginning I mostly felt my forearms afterwards. There's a small "manual" with exercise ideas, showing what else you can do besides the up and down motion in front of you. So other body parts get easily more involved as well. They are well made and feel solid, especially the coil/spring which is often the weak part. The beefy handle is giving me a very good grip and is non-slip, so I am not worried that these will go flying at some point. There are 4 adjustable, small weight rings which -in my opinion- do make some difference depending on where you place them. If all 4 are next to the handle it's on the easier side, and if all 4 are at the top you'll sweat a little more. They come in a bag for ease of storage and transportation - they are also pretty lightweight as well. If they do have a similar effect as battle ropes, then I think these are super convenient. I mean who has the space for those ropes, except gyms? They are very affordable too, priced at just $20 at the time of writing this review. To me, a very nice, welcomed addition to my small workout station which I visit after a morning trail run.

These are actually pretty cool! I had never heard of ropeless battle ropes before until I came across them on Amazon, and thought they’d be really neat to try at home. I used to use battle ropes at the gym all the time until money got tight and I had to quit my gym membership. These ropeless battle ropes were a learning curve for me, but after a few tries, I started getting the hang of them and am really feeling a good workout in my arms after using them. These ropeless ropes are easy to hold and have a grippy handle. You can adjust the resistance just by moving the orange rings closer or further from you. There is also a nice drawstring bag that you can store these in or take them along with you. I do wish there were video instructions on the post, or some kind of workout guru helping along the way, instead of the paper instructions. I like to see someone actually doing the moves in order for me to learn, then to look at a piece of paper and try and figure it out. Other than that, these are great ropeless battle ropes and I’d highly recommend them!

So, while I love the thoughts of being able to get to the gym regularly, work and life makes that a difficult task at best. Equally unrealistic is the thought of having a dedicated area of my house of sufficient size to accommodate substantial exercise equipment. So, we make do with what space we have. These weighted ropeless battle ropes punch WAY above their price point. Initially upon getting them out of the storage bag, I was surprised and impressed with their heft and design. I haven't used ropes at the gym all that often, but I have done so often enough to get the feel for them, and I was again surprised by how closely this product mimicked the real thing. Construction is robust and I expect these to last a very long time. definitely will give your arms and upper body a serious workout if used correctly. For the minimal space they occupy, these are an amazing addition to your home gym, particularly given the very low asking price. Very much worth the investment.

These adjustable ropeless battle ropes are great because they provide an intense workout without needing a lot of space. I can’t believe it took me so long to invest in these! Throughout the years I’ve jumped on a few different fitness crazes (HIIT, CrossFit, boxing, boot camps etc) and all of them have included some form of battle ropes. I’ve always enjoyed that workout no matter what style class I was in. Battle ropes just seemed like a gym activity so I was more than pleasantly surprised to see these weighted battle sticks. I was even more surprised to see them priced below $30!! The sticks are great! They fit well in the hand, have adjustable intensity levels, and they don’t take up any more space than a roll of paper towels when put away in their storage bag. The quality is wonderful and it seems like these sticks will hold up well over time. I can’t wait to see the definition in my arms I will get from these. Easy 5 stars!!

I acquired a battle rope for my residence approximately one year and a half ago. Unfortunately, it yielded an excessive amount of noise and dust and was far too long for my living space. As a result, I was unable to use it at this residence, so I gifted it to a friend. Following my exploration of this adjustable rope-less battle rope, I was impressed by the intensity of the workout it provided. However, I did not notice any significant differences when using the adjustable weights. The more I utilize these, the more I feel comfortable with them. Although they are not a substitute for a battle rope, these do provide a commendable workout experience and seem to be of good quality as well. In conclusion, this product offers a satisfactory workout experience and is well-suited for apartment dwellers. Moreover, it comes accompanied by a pleasant carrying bag of decent quality.
