    • not suited for motorized bicycle storage
with that said, its not its intended useage, so I use it as intended and store my next inline builds more or less and to a point these are able to be mounted lower onto wall or bench and be used as a work platform of sorts the issue is that because diff styles of bikes have there top tube mounted in many different ways and angles this mainly works for mountain bike styles best. so if your bicycles top tube is straight then this should workout greatly ... show more

These bike racks are a good way to get big bulky bikes out of the way. I like the space I have back compared to the bikes just sitting there or leaning in a corner. It didn't take long for my husband to install the bike racks, so it didn't seem complicated. I like that each rack has a shelf built in too. The shelf is a good place for a helmet, bike tools, whatever you need to go with your bike. They hold the bike flat against a wall, so it also is good for clumsy folks, like myself, so you don't trip over a big bike. They're handy and a good way to save space! ... show more

These actually don’t fit our bikes. We have beach-cruiser style bikes and the elongated handlebars as well as the curved section of the frame where it would hang just didn’t work. However, they are excellent for storing our two weed eaters. The rack space is nice for the electric one to hold its charger and I can store the accessory for the gas one up with it. Holding as much weight as they do, I would never use a drywall anchor. However, they are easy to put on a stud because of the screws going in vertically – I really appreciate this design. I probably won’t flip them up the majority of the time, but it's easy to and it’s a nice feature. I also like that they are coated for some extra grip. They do come with some thick plastic hooks that you can attach using velcro straps to get a custom position. ... show more

    • Super sturdy, good quality
This is an excellent bike rack. I'm very pleased. The rack is super sturdy. The cross beams are soldered on. The ends are coated in a protective rubber to prevent scratching. The whole thing is top notch quality. It's very easy to install and works just as intended. Just what I wanted.

    • Using for a Lightweight Road Bike
I really like this bike rack system for a number of reasons. First, the screws to install it on a wall go in vertically, so once you find one stud you are good to go. Second, the hooks are well padded to protect your bike. Third, the hooks can be folded up and out of the way when the rack is not in use. Fourth, you get two racks for a very reasonable price. This rack is working just fine for my lightweight road bike. I've been a little reluctant to put my mountain bike on the rack, as it is one heavy monster that seems like it may overwhelm the installation screws. I will try it at some point.     • Works Well - Make sure it is properly installed
I used this with my mountain bike which has an angled top bar on the frame and is not well balanced (the rear wheel side is heavier) but this still seemed to work just fine. It is very sturdy and looks like it will hold up well over time. Note, this can be quite a lot of weight, and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone installing this to a wood-frame wall to make sure the screws are secured to a stud - might consider using some small lag bolts with a hex head so they can be torqued down more easily. Another consideration before hanging your bike on the wall is to know if the bike riders in your household are physically able to handle the weight of the bike to use the hanger. ... show more
