This item has fluctuated in price tremendously. When I first bought it it sold for $99.99 here on Amazon. Then, since I liked what I initially saw, I bought a second one during Prime Days and paid $55.99 (after coupon). Today, as I'm reviewing this item the regular price remains $55.99 (after coupon). What am I supposed to make of this? To be honest, my initial reaction is not a positive one. Why reduce the price so much and keep it there if it is such a good product? Makes it seem like something must be wrong. Fortunately, my initial lookover seems to indicate otherwise. To be fair, I've only been able to look at away from the vehicles I plan to install them in so it isn't much of an assessment/review. So, bottom-line, I'm relying on all the other positive reviews for my initial rating. I'll come back and update my review post-installs. Finally, this isn't a unique product. There are others offered here on Amazon that seem to be twins (or least, siblings). So my recommendation is to look over before commiting to this one. But if you do decide to grab this item I think you'll probably be satisfied. Other than over-paying for the first one I've been pretty satisfied. 4 stars.

This unit overall surprised me. From reading the reviews I was concerned about sound quality through the FM transmitter and the aux cable as well as call volume and clarity. I was hoping to be able to use my car microphone for phone calls. To my surprise I was able to connect the audio output of device to my car bluetooth. This was accomplished through the carplay/auto audio output setting and having both the device and my car connected to my phone via bluetooth (pixel 7). Through these settings I am able to use my regular bluetooth car settings and my steering wheel controls for apps and volume and phone calls. The software must be new update as the manual does not show this as an option or describe the different audio outputs, I found it through playing with the device. If your phone can support multiple bluetooth connections this is a great choice as sound and phone calls will be similar to your current car bluetooth capabilities, provided your cars has bluetooth built in. Where the unit is lacking is the accessories, they are cheap and not very sturdy. The size of the arm for the suction cup is too short to allow me to reach the device safely while driving. The suction cup only works on the mirror and not my dash, yours may be different. I am purchasing a different mount to be able to better reach the device while driving. If it were not for the surprise bluetooth connect I would have returned the device due to the accessories being so lacking, but the additional functionality is worth the cost of purchasing a new stand.

my concern upon ordering was going to be the sound quality, but to my surprise it sounded great. multiple different ways to use product. the apple car play feature is a blessing, no more need to look down to see map future direction. amazing quality for the price. easy to set up and install. my only negative was the sticky material for the bottom does not stick, had to go get command strips to keep in place, but for the price and quality of device it’s myself i’m not complaining.

This is perfect for apply car play, the dash mount just toss in the trash and get a good one. I had a magnet one that was good - attached the magnet and it stays put. Speaker could be a bit louder but if you connect aux it’s great. For the price you it is very well made.

I bought this because I’m spoiled and love Apple car play. My car has a touch screen with Bluetooth but not car play capable. Nor do I have an aux input. I was under the impression that the only way I was going to be able to transmit audio is through the FM transmitter. Not ideal, but I felt like I could put up with it. Much to my surprise….this device allows you to connect to the stereo Bluetooth if your device can connect to more than 1 device ! Perfect! I will warn that the stand isn’t as sturdy as I would like it to be so that remains to be judged. The screen is also not the most responsive, but it does work. For the price, I’m pleasantly surprised. Also bear in mind is this is a totally wireless car play device. No usb port is provided for a wired connection.

It’s not hard to get setup. Works flawlessly. Love the fact I can keep my factory radio and still have CarPlay. Only problem is a light buzz through the speakers but still very happy with it.

Highly satisfied with the product. Setup was very easy. Would have loved if the connecting wire was just usb wire. Dedicating one lighter plug for this is unreasonable. I used another usb wire to bypass this problem. Setting up is pretty easy and one time job. No additional app needed. FM sound broadcast connects it to your car speakers but this unit has speakers as well. Overall a good product. Update— Sticky pad is not good. The unit fell off multiple times and i had to buy a separate holder. The suction cup works well but only on glass. I personally dont like anything on glass as it blocks my view.
