Item is nice. Good design. Hexagon screen, bowl and pedestal. Ribbing in spark screen keeps it from being distorted by the heat. Seven nuts& bolts for assembly. Hex sections spot welded. Screen and pedestal pack inside the bowl and can easily beput back in the box for storage. The finish withstands the heat. Necer left in the rain. So can't comment on rust. It's a snap to put together and holds a nice amount of wood. The paint fades very quickly so be prepared to spray a high heat paint if you want it to continue to look good

This is a nice fire pit it's not as big as I thought it was going to be and it is quite thin. Easy to assemble. However despite the size it still is a nice fire pit. I bought a cover to help maintain, and have the product last longer. I also put it on a stone base to keep it off the ground to also help it from rusting over time. ... show more
