The media could not be loaded. This was not difficult to put together but I like doing things like this. For others it may not be so much fun. That said it's important to read the instructions. Just saying, that's not my style. I like to look at all the parts, glance over the instructions and then try and power through. That is not my recommendation at this time. The instructions are pretty clear although I do have one suggestion for the layout of the instructions. It's mostly step by step but a key step of inserting the bowl holder is just slipped in there under step 2. It should be a separate step because if you skip that and you get to the end you have to take it practically all the way apart to do that. I think there's some blank paper at the end of the instructions they could have easily fit it without using it any more paper so I don't know why they chose to do it that way especially since it is such a critical step. Or at least highlighted in yellow? So it took me less than an hour and that's counting the time it took me to take it apart again all the way back to step 2 to insert the bowl holder. Once together it seems pretty sturdy. I like that it is screened in. I live in an area where brush and forest fires can be a real issue. Obviously burning anything in your yard is a risk but I think with the screen holding big stuff in that would be less of an issue. I'm not wild about the feet of the fireplace. I don't know how to explain it but it seems like it would have been nice for them to be folded over or have some sort of bracket to make it a little bit more sturdy. Whenever you move it, especially on something like concrete which is likely where you will place it they're probably going to bend a little bit right away unless you lift it all the way off the ground. But at the price it sits at now it's a screaming deal. At $59.99 and a 50% off coupon comes to a third of what it was when I ordered it. Having the poker included is a nice plus. I did not expect that. Time will tell how this holds up with the heat of a fire. Overall happy with it. ... show more

This fire pit does not come assembled but not to worry it was easy to assemble. It looks beautiful in any yard it's good quality material and very sturdy. In pricing other fire pits I would say that this one is a great value for the money and very versatile.
