  • Great features!
This has way better features than my old 12" dewalt electric mitre saw. Love the stops and repeatability of settings. Easy to change bevel and batteries last a long time with what I use it for. Love it!

  • Best portable 10" Miter Saw i've used
I have used probably 10 different brands of 10" and 12" and even 14", almost all were corded. I am now living in a rural part of Nevada and had to find a solution for a lot of projects I was committed to in building my property. I did not have power and did not want to run my generator which was running my well and other equipment. So since I am already on the M18 line I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this saw. It has worked out as good as it can be. The degrees might be a bit off and require adjusting though out of the box if you are planning on using a outside and inside angle finder and applying it as accurate as possible (mine was a little off but I just adjusted as I knew how far off it was). This is an issue I noticed on every saw I've ever owned or used, so it's not a hit against milwaukee, it just means whatever they use in the factory to set the angles are a little different then the tools I used to find the angle. Only issue I have run into, is user error, I've cut the fence on both aluminum pieces X_X. Because someone else will move it and I'll come back and make a quick cut and I'd notice a ton of alluminum shards, whoops!! Good news is the replacement fences can be had from milwaukee for under 30 bucks for both, and part numbers are 28-35-0090 28-35-0095. ... show more

  • Husband loved it
According to my husband it works great. It’s also quieter then what I am used to. I love that and I’m sure the neighbors love it as well.

  • Great saw, but problem with handle bolts
Great saw. You set angles and it cuts. Battery life was very good (I only used a 5AmpHr). I think the bolts to attach the handles (also stock rests) need attention. They are nice heavy bolts, but they have a very small, star bit driver. It's the same as the small bolts on some of the cover plates. I have stripped out the star holes on two of them. It is had to put anything strong on them to remove them. I think they need a more typical bolt head so that they can be installed/removed quickly and reliably. ... show more

  • It’s a Milwaukee tool! Of course it’s great! 😃
I needed a chop saw to install floating floors in our new home. I’m a big fan of Milwaukee tools. What really blew me away though; some miter saws have a guide laser, that are never very reliable. This thing has an LED positioned over the blade, so the shadow of the blade as you lower it to your work shows you where material will be removed! Super clever, no calibration necessary! ... show more

  • Love Love Love this tool
I could write a long review but instead I'll keep it short. If you need a saw like this - you won't be disappointed!!

  • It has power, but don'rt ask for a review after I have had it for less than two weeks.
Give me some time to evaluate it. Two weeks is not enough.
