This is super useful to cut down some really high up branches, but it isn't not as lightweight as I thought that it would be (though that may just be me!). I bought this because of the good reviews and I am glad that I did. I love that it has a saw or lopper with a pully string so you can do different things with them. I haven't used all of the poles that it comes with - I've only used about 3 and it gets a little tough for me to hold it up steady by myself - maybe if you have someone else to spot you if you don't have the most upper body strength??? So, typically I just use 1 or 2 poles and I'm ok. I've found it super useful and glad that I purchased it. The price isn't bad at all for all that you get with it...

Bought this for myself -- needed a trimmer that was lightweight, easy to assemble, easy to put away, well-built, and didn't break the bank. I'd say this trimmer hits all those marks! Inside the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find the tool stowed inside a heavy canvas bag with handles. The pole came in sections - so that you can use whatever length you needed. The saw and clipper parts are separate and can be used separately - for example, my son used the saw while I trimmed smaller branches with the clipper. All the pieces fit neatly back into the bag when we were finished with our task. For anyone that has had one of those super long trimmers that never got any smaller than 8' and had the string hanging down and constantly tangling in items in the garage or shed? Well, this trimmer is a huge improvement! I highly recommend.

I used this to cut a couple 6"-8" limbs off a maple tree. Fully extended, it sags a lot from the flexing of the pole. This flex means you have to go easy or it'll bounce out of the kerf. I wish they'd have a coarser tooth blade for the larger limbs, as the fine tooth blade (2 of them) takes a long time to cut, whereas a course tooth bow saw style blade could be thru them much faster.

Spent 2 days working this equipment HARD. Cut down lage storm damaged limbs, 20+ inches thick. Used the trimmer on smaller branches. Used it in tight spots, 15 feet and higher. Yes, it’s heavy which actually helps put pressure down. Keep checking the connections as they do wear loose (may use lock-tight at some point). I’ve owned another brand but this one is really solid for heavier work.

Cuts easily and seems durable. Used for mature Queens and Sable palm trees. Tiring work but worth it. Now to get the height sections back apart, as they will not budge and separate is the next task. Seems like the threading is now one?

Sharp saw, easy to assemble. Needed to trim seed pods and fronds off 30-foot tall palm trees. A bit of a challenge getting the long pole from horizontal position to vertical, but once up and on the area that needed trimming, it worked great!

Bends like a fishing pole. Even without all the extensions installed, this thing is incredibly unwieldy, making it extremely difficult to use the saw, much less get the lopper hooked on a branch. At full length it's tough work even raising it--using it, good luck. For context, I'm an athlete. I weigh 195 with an avg of 8-10% body fat in the offseason. If I have trouble using this, the average person is going to find it essentially impossible. Returning this ASAP.
