My household somehow reached the point where incubating eggs sounded like a perfectly reasonable weekend project, so I picked up this QVKHPCL automatic incubator to test the experience. Right away, the digital controls and clear viewing lid made it feel much more advanced than the old foam box incubators I remember seeing years ago. The 26 egg capacity works nicely for smaller home setups without taking over the entire room like a tiny poultry empire headquarters. It supports chicken, duck, and quail eggs, which gives some flexibility depending on how ambitious your future bird management plans become. Honestly, the whole thing made me realize hatching eggs is basically a combination of farming, babysitting, and emotional gambling. The automatic temperature and humidity controls are definitely the biggest convenience features here. Instead of manually adjusting everything every few hours like an exhausted weather technician, the incubator handles most of the environmental management itself. The digital display is easy to read and shows both temperature and humidity clearly. The automatic egg turning function also helps reduce the amount of constant monitoring required. At least the eggs get rotated properly while I continue pretending I understand poultry science confidently. Setup was fairly straightforward and mostly involved assembling the trays, adding water, and configuring the settings. The plastic construction feels lightweight but reasonably sturdy once assembled. The transparent lid makes it easy to check on eggs without constantly opening the incubator and disrupting conditions. I also appreciated that the unit operated quietly overall because listening to loud fan noise for several weeks would test anybody's emotional stability eventually. Once running, the temperature stayed fairly consistent during testing. Humidity levels still require occasional checking despite the automatic controls. Environmental conditions in the room can affect performance more than I originally expected. The included instructions also could explain calibration and setup more clearly for first time users. This incubator offers a lot of functionality in a single unit and seems designed to simplify the entire hatching process from incubation through early brooding. And, it holds up to 26 chicken eggs and can accommodate up to 20 chicks in brooder mode after hatching. The automatic features are easy to appreciate: temperature and humidity control, automatic egg turning, low-water alerts, a built-in egg candler, hatch-day tracking, and automatic shutdown of egg turning during the final days of incubation help reduce the amount of daily monitoring required. The LCD display makes it easy to keep an eye on conditions without constantly opening the unit. I also liked the large 1500mL water reservoir, which reduces the need for frequent refilling. The transparent cover makes observation easy, and the detachable components simplify cleaning between hatches. This incubator arrived just in time for me to spread out quail eggs I had incubating in another incubator for lock down. Just as a note, make sure if you are just starting your incubation to find the egg turner gear and press it on the shaft that spins the egg turner. I almost missed that step when setting it up and checking that everything worked. I like how the fan is removable from the top for easy cleaning. As well as the base having a solid separator between the water reservoir in the bottom and the eggs on top. My other incubator always gets gross in the bottom with pieces of shell and poop falling thru to the water reservoir. At first it held temp and humidity no issue. However 24 hours after setting it with eggs for lock down the water pump failed. I was woken up in the middle of the night by low humidity alarms. I got the humidity back up by opening the vents in the base and putting a damp sponge in the incubator tho. Contacting the vendor about the issue received a prompt reply and a replacement shipped out. The replacement functions perfectly. The only thing I don’t like about this incubator is there’s no lip or wall to keep chicks in when lifting the lid to move dried off chicks to the brooder. Even tho I was extremely careful, I still almost squished one chick who managed to jump halfway out as I was replacing the lid. Still I will continue to use this incubator as I grow my quail covey. I like the size and how many eggs it holds, how well made it is, how reliably it holds temp and how easy it is to clean up after using it. I may just try to jury rig some kind of wall to keep the chicks inside better!

So far this has been the ultimate incubator for us. It came with two separate trays, one smaller I assume meant for quail or such, and then one larger that accommodates chicken eggs more than comfortably, and I'm sure it would accommodate duck eggs but I'm not too sure about goose eggs it might be a tight fit for that. I was really excited about this incubator as it does not require jugs of water sitting next to it. Instead it relies on a tray of water underneath everything in the bottom of the whole machine that you fill through a small slide-out tray. That sounds confusing or difficult it absolutely is not. The readout is very easy to use and set. The humidity sensor is accurate, I had an external humidity sensor that I set inside with the eggs and it was spot on. You can change the intervals of egg rotation and I have mine set on every 60 minutes and it is silent when it rotates the eggs. Some incubators are a bit more rough and they rattle the eggs as they go but this is a slow and steady rotate. The incubator also stops rotating 3 days before hatch automatically which is fantastic. And also it comes in an awesome color. Overall the plastic is very durable feeling, and the Dome itself is easily see-through for egg and hatch monitoring. If I could rate this a 10 star I would, I love the design and I know I'll be using the incubator for years to come.
