This review is for the 12 pack of paint markers. This is a nice set of paint markers. The price is low enough for this to be an impulse buy and well within the range of trying something new. I purchased these for a rock-painting activity with my class and they worked well for that activity. The rocks we used were really smooth and the nibs performed really well.

Honestly these are great for kids and small craft projects that you might want to try but don’t want to commit to the more expensive brands. They are pretty opaque except maybe the white marker but they also leave a weird shiny finish instead of being matte? If you’re looking for a dupe for a name brand just save your money and buy the name brand one. That’s what I’d do with hindsight.

I’m new at rock painting and I absolutely love these pens. I have other pens, but these are my “go to” ones for a lot of my projects. I recommend these pens and will definitely purchase them again!

This is a review of Acrylic Paint Markers,Acrylic Paint Pens Paint Markers, 12 Colors Dual Tip.
These are really fun. Though I plan to do many projects with them, I ordered them to decorate an unappealing magnetic board. The magnet surface seems to be covered in a plastic, and I wasn’t sure what medium would work on that surface. These markers do! These go on like regular markers, and, at least for this particular surface, I don’t need to wait for them to dry. They dry immediately and the color stays the same wet or dry. The cap for each marker reliably shows the color of the paint. The cap for the ‘pen’ side fits more closely than the other cap, I’m assuming to keep the thinnest edge of the pen moist. And the pen side can write a very thin line, as long as there is almost no pressure on the tip. The more pressure, the more the tip sort of spreads and creates a thick line. And I’m so glad these markers do not have any weird odor — previous markers I’ve tried made me have to run to open all the windows quickly.
I’m having so much fun with these, I wish I had ordered a larger set!
