It's a great machine I've had on pretty much 25/7 for the past couple of months. It's doing a great job of dehumidifying my 1200 sq. ft. place and it's given us ZERO issues to-date. The only thing I don't like is that, since I have to spill out the water so often (I don't have a place to attach the drain hose in my house - Nothing to do with the unit) is that, every time I remove the collection canister, is beeps it's alarm to say something is wrong.... This little machine is totally effective and works very well. Rums quietly, it does not blow out hot air like a lot of dehumidifiers, and it appears to be energy efficient. Its slow and steady operation is nice and easy. Small reservoir, so plan to empty every 24 hours or run tube to a drain.

I've had this dehumidifier running in my ~600sqft apartment for about a week, and it's been great at keeping the humidity down during a heatwave and subsequent rainstorms. Because it's so effective, I do wish the tank were bigger, but it seems comparable to similar dehumidifiers of this size and price point. The dehumidifier is small in overall size.. runs on Hi very low FAN noise ...and the nice feature is the fan blows up and not out the side like my old one did. Attached the included drain hose for basement floor drain so no need to empty tank... but tank is small and would not hold much water anyway. Keeps our basement about 51% on Hi setting even if I have the stat set at 45%... so it could be a bit small for the basement overall sq feet. But a nice running unit. ... show more

I set this up in a 400 Sq. Ft. basement room (well below the 2500 sq. Ft. it is advertised for) that the unit initially registered as having 73% humidity. After running an entire day, it filled up its tiny little 1/2 gallon tank once, and the humidity had been lowered to 60% with the setting on 45%. On the following days it could never get the room below 60%. Within minutes of turning it off and back on again, the room was registered back in the 70% range, leading me to believe its 60% reading was not even accurate. The room felt no drier the entire time it was in use. Except for a few brief minutes, this item sounded like nothing more than a blower fan, not the low rumble that all of my previous dehumidifiers made. So the fact that it is so quiet, really made wonder whether it was even functioning properly. I sent it back saying it did not perform as advertised. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. In SoCal in my tiny 700sq apt is keeps the humidity down to much more manageable levels. I have it set 50% and fired it to up about 30mins ago. This is my first dehumidifiers and is seems to be working well for what I need. My case is to have some windows open in the apt which is technically inefficient for a dehumidifier but it will maintain 50% pretty well and will off to save power to then turn back on at 52% If I set it lower like 45%-35% the windows need to be closed or it will go nonstop and the lowest is 30% even with Windows closed I wasn't able to drop down. It's fairly quiet, with normal speed the sound of a portable refrigerator compressor ( ~48 db) low speed about the sound of large aquarium filter (~43 db) It has a white noise sound so it's pretty nice and not obtrusive My only gripe is the tank is pretty small and usually needs to empty once or twice a day.if at normal speed once a day or low speed twice a day. I did used the tube when I was away for a week and it had not issue running. However, that was also when I set the dehumidifier at 35% with all windows closed and it basically ran 24/7 using 2kwh everyday! So if you live in a small apt in Socal set it to 50% or it will keep running! ... show more
