I am amazed at this small and lightweight dehumidifier. It is sensitive to ambient humidity and keeps it at a comfortable level. I can walk by the air output and not get blasted. I have the enclosed tube connecting the dehumidifier to the opening harboring the sump pump. It is very convenient.

I received my dehumidifier quickly and was able to track it's delivery with ease. I set it in place after reading the instructions and was immediately impressed with how quiet the unit is. It is a nice size and fits into the room without looking bulky. I left it on overnight and when I checked on it the next day it was operating without any problems. I noticed a difference in the air right away. I love that the company gave a 3 year extended warranty and replied back to me in an e- mail that there is also lifetime customer service. I picked up the VEAGASO 2500 Sq. Ft Dehumidifier a couple of months ago for our basement, which always felt a bit clammy and smelled musty. We needed something that could handle a decent-sized area without hiking up our energy bills too much. This dehumidifier has been a great find. It covers our entire basement well, pulling out up to 34 pints of moisture each day. Since we started using it, the air down there feels much drier and fresher. No more musty smell, which is a huge relief. I appreciate that it’s Energy Star certified. I didn’t want something that would cost a fortune to run continuously, especially since it’s needed most days throughout the spring and fall. It also shuts off on its own once it hits the humidity level you set or when the tank fills up, which saves energy and is one less thing for me to worry about. Does what is supposed to do. I'm using it for a closet 4x4x7 and it's 66% rh indoors, live on East Coast. And I set it to 50% it's keeping it steady at 54to55 rh which is decent. The wattage runs at 126 watts, when the Compressor kicks on it spikes to 400watt for couple seconds. The internal tank is pretty small so I'm using a 2 gallon bucket for continuous drip. Overall pretty good for the price. The output fan doesn't blow that hot it raises temp maybe 2 degrees. And it's pretty quiet. ... show more

    • Broke after 3 months.
Cannot recommend. I set it to 50% humidity in a small room and one day I walked in and it wouldn't light up or power on. I'm going to see if the warranty actually works and how good their customer service is. It was good well at lasted but it wasn't very long.
