You never know what you’re gonna get when you order sight unseen. Every merchant claims “best quality”, right? So I was so happy with this tarp I promptly bought a second one. Compared to the local chain ag store’s heaviest tarp, this one beats it. Material is heavier, stitching is better. Corners are finished better. Corner grommets are better, non-corner grommets are acceptable but not stellar. Overall, 5 stars. Would buy again…..and did. ;-)

I needed to cover up and protect a bunch of cargo in the bed of a pickup truck during a long drive which had extreme varying conditions (started in a thunderstorm and then into high heat (103F+) with high winds. In an 8 hour drive across Texas you can easily experience two (or more) seasons of weather climates, and still not make it across the entire state! I bought this tarp because it was waterproof, UV resistant, and heavy duty (16mil thick). This tarp did not disappoint. No problem keeping the water away, nothing got damaged by the heavy sunlight, and no problems with tearing under heavy winds. Couldn't be happier with this tarp. There are grommets every 18" along the outer perimeter of the tarp, so it was super easy to secure with bungie cords no matter where my tie downs on the truck bed were located. If you need a good tarp, this is the one to get, and it comes in all sorts of sizes. Way better than the cheap "heavy duty" tarps you get at the hardware store.

This really is a heavy duty tarp. The one I got is big, so it can be hard to handle when I'm high up trying to cover something tall. It does the job, though, so it's worth the work.

Might be OK as a tarp. 4-stars because they don't advertise it for blocking light, but several questions and reviews state this is what some people want it for. The brown coloring is inconsistent, especially in creases or where it flakes off. This will dim the light in a room but it isn't close to blackout. We found it ineffective, heavy and clumsy and tossed it out. If room darkening is your objective there are better alternatives that are also easier to handle because less thick. For example, "Frost King P350BW 350B Polyethylene Sheeting, 3' x 50' x 4 Mil, Black" is available on Amazon for about half the cost of this tarp. It is much thinner but easier to handle and better at blocking light. After finding it worked for me I bought an inexpensive grommet set (also on Amazon) that further facilitated hanging it up and taking it down.

I have had this tarp for approximately 1 year. It has been over a pergola on my deck. It has no holes or tears, but the rain will puddle and soak right through the fabric.

Usually I have to replace tarps for shredding from wind or tearing at pressure points every year, even the "heavy duty" ones. This tarp has been in place for 2 years as shade for a kennel. Still no tears or shredding. This tarp cost less than a" high quality heavy duty tarp " and last longer, and won't rot like canvas.

this came in exactly as we ordered it. We just ordered it way to large and didn't want to return it. We made it work for this summer on the gazebo for now. We will order another smaller one next year from the same company because the tarp is perfect for what we want, it is just bigger and that is our fault, not theirs. It is quite thick and perfectly durable which in our wind and rain, we need.
