Where were these bad boys the last four times I switched apartments? I could have bought thousands of them with money lost to unreturned security deposits at the hands of those god-awful vertical blinds that exist for no purpose other than to cause depression and make landlords money when they inevitably break after being subjected to .002 Newtons of force. I could have been the vertical blind repair tab queen. Has a nice ring to it. Anyways. These serve their purpose if you apply them correctly. I ended up putting them on all of my blinds, including the remaining 3% that were still intact, to add an additional layer of protection for the next time someone has the audacity to so much as look at my patio door. They are barely visible once installed and don't compromise the function of the blinds at all. I am happy to report that it has been six months since the universe placed these sacred relics in an amazon box on my doorstep and I have experienced 0 vertical blind casualties, which is a true feat considering my clinically obese Maine Coon with a vengeance to destroy. When I move out and get my full security deposit back, I'll be buying more of these for my next home. And maybe some behavioral training for my cat. ... show more

I HATE blinds. I hate those stupid plastic, frail white ugly column blinds. And they break so easily! Luckily these replacement tabs were very easy to install, stick very well to the blinds, are very discrete, and they helped saved me money.

While taking down our vertical blinds, the unit fell and cracked 5 of the vertical blinds off. Found these on Amazon and thought I would give them a try. Our blinds have a texture to them that runs vertically. Both sides of the blinds have this texture so it is not a smooth surface. The tabs would not stick on one of the blinds despite cleaning well with alcohol. I ended up lightly sanding both sides of the one blind with sand paper and again using alcohol to clean it . This seemed to help. All 5 blinds are staying in place and I repaired them a couple of weeks ago. ... show more
