We didn't buy this at Amazon but I thought I'd review it here any way. We were at our hunt camp prepping fields when our old reliable sprayer finally gave up. In a pinch we went to a local supply store and bought this sprayer without any research. At first it seemed like a great design: sprays 30' or so, adjustable nozzles, no boom to mess with. In practice it didn't work that well. Don't bother spraying in a wind. The spray from the end nozzles is kind of fine, you have to make multiple passes to get a good amount of product on the field, even after adjusting the volume. We can live with that. The problems were: it leaked out-of-the-box, it doesn't fit that well on an ATV, so we modified it to fit in a Ranger, which fit-wise worked well. However, the filter mesh is so fine the sprayer is constantly clogging up. Our fields are about .5-.8 acres each. We had to clean the filter after each field, which is a bit of a hassle. The good news is the filter is easy to get to in the Ranger. On an ATV, that's not always the case. Bottom line, I wouldn't buy this again. I'd do my research, I'd bite the bullet, pay the price and get a boomed sprayed designed for a Ranger. ... show more

Bought this unit to use on our ranch. Placed it on a ATV and have had nothing but problems. Anytime I used any of the adjustments or shutoffs they moved difficult and often broke. Hoses are attached by plastic fittings and are place towards the drives back. When you get on the ATV you need to be careful not to bump the controls and break any of the plastic fittings. Replacement parts are expensive. I would not purchase this again. I also had a prior model and experienced the same problems. ... show more

I have owned this sprayer for 2 years now and it has been nothing but problems. The pump does not build enough pressure to evenly distribute the chemical to the 3 nozels on the boom. The tank cracked and leaks where the threaded inserts are molded in the plastic for the mounting brackets (NO. they were NOT over tighten during assembly!). The plastic manifold used for selecting the boom, hand sprayer or recirculate also has broke several times from bouncing on the ATV while slowly driving through the field to get to the area that needed spraying.. ... show more

By pass hose was broken when it arrived at my house. I called fimco and got a replacement part free of charge. Excellent customer service. I can’t wait to get this sprayer in food plots to try it out.
