I got this for my bathroom. I put it above my shower bc I love listening to music as I’m doing my morning routine. I can change the songs through my Alexa phone app without ever touching the remote. You can change the lighting and volume or skip songs through the remote though if that’s your thing. The only negative though is that it’s not a great speaker, but I think that goes without saying considering the price and that it’s a light. I’m pretty happy with it. ... show more

Only complaint is volume doesn’t go really loud but it’s loud enough to dance in the kitchen. I like that it’s a bright white light when I turn it on. If you turn it off and leave it off for a few seconds then back on it will still be bright white. This is perfect for my kitchen. I didn’t want to have to cycle through the colors each time I turn it on and it doesn’t so that’s good. If I want it to bump colors in time with the music I turn it on then off then on again quickly. Do it again quickly and it will change to solid red. Repeat off and on quickly to change between each color. It connects to my iPhone automatically when on. I just tell Siri to play my music and it plays. It was easy to install as ceiling mount. Description says it can be a pendant light which is a little misleading. It comes with a standard bulb base that you can attach to the light so it can be screwed into a light bulb socket. It doesn’t come with the hanging pendant fixture, you’d have to buy that separately then this acts light a giant screw in light bulb. I’d recommend it. Password/passcode for it is 0000 That should have been in the instructions but wasn’t. My PS3 asked for it but my phone didn’t. ... show more

Light when on is pleasant. Color choices via the remote. Poor design in my opinion. Does not fit on the ceiling electrical box. Does not have a ground wire. Wire to the supply side is a very small stranded guage. Tough to wire nut to the solid suppy. We will see how it does long term. Added 2 weeks after the above-the company who sold this contacted me through Amazon and offered to refund my purchase price. I did not take them up on their offer as I want to see how the does long term. ... show more
