It did take him a few days to get the hang of it, but once he did, he’s been zooming around and having a blast. Item was great at first and very stable and easy to use for 4 and 5 year old. But in less than 5 months the 2 that we ordered have stopped working. Both won’t charge and cannot be used. We are unable to get a replacement item which is disappointing.

I honestly didn’t expect to love this scooter as much as we do, but wow IRIMMY nailed it with this one. My kid jumps on it every single day, and the scooter still feels solid and brand-new. The motor is surprisingly strong for a kids’ scooter, and the 5MPH safe speed is perfect: fast enough to feel fun, slow enough that I’m not panicking behind them. The light-up wheels and deck are the real show-stoppers — they look so good at night that even other parents ask me where I got it. The LCD screen, Bluetooth, and thumb throttle make it feel like a mini-version of a real electric scooter, but designed with kids’ safety in mind. The build quality honestly shocked me. I got this for my 7-year-old son. He’s average height and skinny, so I really didn’t expect power to be an issue. Unfortunately, this scooter barely moves on its own if there is any amount of incline. Even what feels like a 1% incline, it just won’t go. He was really excited because he wants to be like everyone else with an electric scooter, but he’s still a little too nervous to move to a 2-wheel scooter. So when I found this one, he was over the moon, until we actually tried it. He does not get disappointed easily, so seeing how sad and let down he was honestly says a lot. I wish I could return it, but it was a birthday gift and I ordered it a little in advance, so now I’m outside the return window. Really disappointing overall. I wanted to love it, but I can’t recommend it if your child needs it to handle even the slightest incline.
