    • Holding Up Well In Harsh Conditions
I used this to replace a blown transformer in my pool heater. The power output is as quoted, and it seems to be holding up well in the harsh conditions next to large NG burners.

Thank goodness I had the habit of testing before install. I was using the 120V config was only receiving 2.083VAC out. I guess you get what you pay for. I ended paying the money for an OEM replacement and had my AC working within 20min

    • Used in a different application, still worked great
I actually use this product to replace a doorbell transformer for my Ring video camera. The old transformer only put out enough to barely charge the camera. It was more like a trickle charge so the battery would die very quickly under every use. This new transformer held up to its standards, and worked exactly as I wanted to. I never have any issues with my camera dying anymore and is able to easily maintain the battery charge even when set to the highest settings. This transformer works to power our thermostat and HVAC system. We hooked it up to 120v AC, but it has connections for 208 and 240 as well. Only concern is that it gets surprisingly warm, I would guess it is about 85-90 degrees. Continually heating this transformer to that temperature makes me think the transformer is drawing a substantial amount of power that is just being lost to heat due to being inefficient. Doesn't seem very efficient, but does work well at producing 24v AC. ... show more

24V 40VA Control Transformer came in a white box which was nicely padded. Transformer is solidly built and replaced an old transformer on a boiler system sparking a Honeywell S8610U. So far so good.
