  • Fiberglass Splinters
Beware! While these are a good value for the quantity, they will leave you with fiberglass splinters straight out of the box. If you purchase, don’t handle these without wearing gloves.

  • My chickens are safe now! My chickens are safe now!
These are exactly what I needed! I have two big secured fenced in runs. And I have been using. That in sort of a field rotation setup. The problem is the path to park our trailer is in the middle. Everything was out in that area because it's the only clearing on our property and prime territory. Every square foot is accounted for. So I don't have the availability to coming pens. Nor can I expand either of the existing pens. And originally there were two pens for different flocks of my chickens and ducks. But not they're acclimated and get along great and it's wasted space and exte time and energy going back and forth for feeding an water changes. So I've combined flocks. They all live in one coop and have daily access to one pen. However I've been thinking it'd be easy to turn open up the other and rotate them there for the next month. And alrernate like that back and forth. Well that's great in theory, but I must have thought I was the pied piper cause I just figured they could be trusted to follow me through the clearing in the middle once the trailer is pulled out. Nope! They decided to go on an unsanctioned field trip. And we are deep in the county next to a preserve so there are predators everywhere and they try to get my birds constantly while they are secured n their pen so I couldn't have that happen gain. I know as long as I'm standing there they will be safe from aerial attack. But a know a fox may try to snag one off to the side and I now they could wander off and a bear could grab them real fast. So I got these to run electric lines between the fenced pens to soak the clearing so they have a safe transit line between the two. The posts are vibrant. Well made. They're light but solid. Flexible enough to be a lil without immediately breaking. They've got hooks to easily run the lines through. They are simple to just step into the ground and go. It's a very quick setup and now my girls are sooo much safer. So if you want to keep your flock safe and set up foraging pens or get them safely from point A to point B then these posts are the start of a great corridor. Against predators. And the chickens must sense the electricity or something cause they don't go up to them thankfully. I am thrilled with them. They're a great deal for the peace of mind I have now! ... show more

  • Breaks easily. Metal stake is encased in plastic and the plastic breaks easily Breaks easily. Metal stake is encased in plastic and the plastic breaks easily
These fiberglass posts have a metal step in post. They are super easy to set up and a big improvement from the fiberglass step in posts that do not have a metal bottom. These are easy to put in the ground and held up to the 35 mph winds without losing the line. I'm updating this review to reflect the lifespan. These break easily. The breaking point is right where the post joins the metal base. It's only been a few months and 3 are already broken out of 5. The connection between the posts and metal base is made of plastic and it snaps easily. ... show more

  • Very good for the price Very good for the price
High quality step-in posts can be pretty pricey. These are perhaps not quite as sturdy or durable as others I've seen - but for the price, they are an excellent value. They have a large enough tab to step on when setting them, and the 4 adjustable wire clips give me the flexibility to set electric fence polyropes at whatever height I want. ... show more

  • Good quality product
I ordered these poles as back up stabilizing poles for my electric poultry fence since they are similar to the ones that come with the fence. While I have not installed them yet, I can assure you they are made to last. The fiberglass poles have a good amount of bend to them keeping them from snapping in half. The base of the pole has a lip which helps when inserting them into the ground and you can apply pressure to this lip with your foot keeping all of the pressure at the base of the pole not the top like other poles. Lastly, the grommets on the top of the pole that go down mid way will hold onto the fence netting just fine. This set is good for adding to an existing fence if needed for more stability or as back up poles should your original poles get damaged. ... show more

  • Adjustable Adjustable
These worked well for temporary fencing setups. The adjustable clip system is the standout feature. Being able to slide the wire holders up and down makes it easy to set different fence heights depending on what you’re trying to contain. Installation is quick. The metal spike steps into the ground with foot pressure and didn’t need any tools. The fiberglass post has some flex to it and springs back instead of snapping when bumped. They’re lightweight and easy to carry around, which helps when moving or reconfiguring a fence. They do cost a bit more than big box store posts, but the convenience of delivery and the adjustability make up for it. Good option for seasonal fencing or garden protection. ... show more
