So all is well that ends well BUT ... the first order came with a bent metal piece that could not be attached properly. Amazon was great and sent UPS to pick it up and sent the new one the next day. Assembly should have been a cake walk but it was actually pretty time consuming and frustrating. The holes aren't aligned perfectly everywhere so you have to really work to get the screws into the holes. Finally get it assembled and it is super sturdy! Then of course I flip it over and see a pull in the fabric that I hadn't noticed before. But now it is assembled and that thread will drive me nuts but it looks good enough. ... show more

I bought this as more of an accessory in my entryway and didn’t have high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to see a lovely, sturdy bench arrive. My dog loves to sit/lay on it and people-watch out the window and often chooses this over her swanky memory foam dog beds.

The upholstered top seems to be well made and attractive, like the pictured product. However, the black metal frame has been painted carelessly with irregular silver brush strokes. The frame was impossible to assemble because one bracket was too bent to fit in the cross member and the hole was too deformed to accept a bolt. ... show more

Very pleased with this bench. We used it as a dining bench. With an 18" seat height it worked with our 19" seat height dining chairs. The cushion is firm and holds its shape. The color is a rich, deep navy. Notably, the bottom is metal and a distressed finish of black/silver. I was nervous I wouldn't like the distressed finish, but I feel it adds to the piece. This bench is a great value especially for the size and quality. The ivory bench fabric is a true ivory or off white. It blends white cream or white. The bench seat is firm and fits perfectly at the bottom of a king size bed.
