Proper storage and cooling of wines do not only preserve its quality but also bring wines to perfect aging. High temperature or even too low temperature may damage the quality and taste of wine. This is why it is necessary to have a wine cooler that is specifically designed and built for cooling and storing wines. In my view, this Wine Cooler can add charming décor to the kitchen, or wherever you are going to keep it because of its sleek and stylish design, I will also be able to show how exquisite my collection is. At the same time, I can serve fresh and cool wines at my family gatherings and enjoy my favorite brand when I am alone, too. This wine cooler comes with single-zone cooling technology. I can store and cool both red and white wines in one unit. Temperature can be adjusted and controlled conveniently through the digital touch screen panel. It has the ideal temperature range of 41 °F to 78 °F, which can protect the wines from the outside heat and temperature. This is because this cooler comes with an air-tight sealed door in dual-paned tempered glass. This design prevents the heat and rays of the sun from affecting the bottles. I noticed that the door is designed with a double-paned tempered glass door enhanced with a layer of insulation gas for the protection of wine and its quality. The stainless steel frame is seamless, and it is left-hinged. True-Key lock system prevents anyone from accessing the wine cooler and open its door. The door handle is also in stainless steel for sleek appeal and easy but firm grab. Advanced compressor-based cooling technology is used together with carbon filters that purify the air circulating inside the unit. There is also a blue light that allows us to view the collection from outside, even if the door is closed. I should point out that the unit is so hefty (100 lbs), so you need at least two people to carry it. Update June 19, 2020: Colzer customer service replaced with brand new unit! Awesome customer service! Cooler stopped cooling after 4 months. Amazon said to contact company via email. Company will not contact me back with warranty information. Supposed to have 3year warranty.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a wine cooler that was the same height as my hutch in my dining area and it’s kind of hard to find because everything kind of comes in a boxy smaller version so I was not able to find many wine coolers that are tall and match the height of my hutch but also had an LED light feature. I took a chance on this because I still wasn’t sure if this would exactly match the height or if this would look nice but wow it looks amazing. It matches the height perfectly and the LED light looks nice especially at night when we have guests come over for dinner we turn the light on and it looks so good. It was really well packaged so there was no damage in shipping. You let it sit upright for about two hours before turning it on. But once we turned on it was immediately ready to be used we just had to put on the handle which took less than two minutes. It comes with two keys so we are able to lock it. I can take about 18 750 ML bottles. The beech shelves are telescopic so you can take them out and then remove a bottle instead of maneuvering when the shelves are locked in one place. The control panel has to be unlocked before use. The first time we used it it was not responding so we got a little scared that it’s not working but you have to hold the lock button for 7 to 10 seconds before it responds with a beep and then you can go ahead and change the temperature. To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius press and hold the up button and the bulb button together. Also prevents any light from going inside that keeps the bottles protected from light. Because we found ourselves members of so many local winery “club shipments” my wife and I decided it was time to have an appropriate way to store our purchases and we are so happy we finally splurged on this wine cooler! Previously we would have to go to the cabinet (or usually the garage or laundry room) and grab a bottle to throw in the freezer, where we would have to wait and usually forget it, each time we wanted to open a bottle - but now we have our favorites ready to be enjoyed any time we want! We love that the wooden trays pull out so we can see what kind of wine it is without having to pull each bottle out individually, and we can even store larger bottles like champagne at the bottom so we are always ready to celebrate. It’s super quiet - so much so that at first my wife would feel the door when she walked by just to make sure it was on but the temperature always matched exactly what the digital display was set to! This was a great purchase and has really elevated our home and our life - with so much going wrong in the world this is a bright spot that makes things very right! Be warned though, this comes in a very big box and is very heavy - but it’s incredibly intuitively easy to setup and you can reward yourself with some perfectly cooled wine after you’ve gotten it in just the right spot. ... show more
