Love how sturdy these are. Have them hanging from my ceiling and they have survived falling a 2 story drop more than once, a 4 year old waving them around accidentally smacking walls, and they are really easy to use. The remote is a great feature and the flickering setting looks great. (They flicker randomly so it looks pretty realistic!) Since they take 2 AAA batteries they aren’t super heavy either so they are pretty easy to suspend if you are going for the “Hogwarts” look for Halloween. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Pros: Matte finish so doesn’t look like cheap plastic love that they are ivory and not white Bright Love the timer setting And love the dimmer setting (although I wish you could use the brightness adjustment with the candle(flicker) setting) I love them and they are stunning in my living room. It’s just like the hogwarts great hall! The only negative I would say is that in the light you can kind of see through them and see the wire going up to the top of the candle for the light, but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering them again. And they are up so high it’s barely noticeable for me. I plan on keeping these up all the way through Christmas. So happy!!! Thank you!!!! ... show more

The lights worked out great for my Harry Potter inspired living room/dining room spooky season decorations. My only gripe is that they’re definitely cheap and 2 of them didn’t work so I had to toss them. Other than that, I think they look awesome!

I purchased these taper candles for my wedding, and I’m obsessed with how they turned out! They are remote operated which is super nice and the batteries last a long time. You can change the brightness to set the mood as well.

Bought these with the idea to turn them into floating candles and they were perfect! They're not too heavy once the batteries are installed and the remote is perfect for turning them all on or off! The flicker affect is also subtle, but very nice to look at! The flickering is randomized too so not all of my candles are flickering at the same time. Although these functions are great, I am not sure if there's really a brightness function in these candles as every time I try to turn the brightness up or down, nothing happens. That doesn't personally bother me, but it may bother someone else. On their own, these candles don't appear bright at first glance, but they can really light up a small room if you're looking for ambient lighting! ... show more

I bought these for a holiday open house, but they are being returned. Not only will they never pass for real candles, they are so skinny that they don't stand up in the candle holders and I've tried with several different ones. Also, the remote works with some of them, but not on others.
