    • misting ring too strong
I bought this fan because of the misting ring for evaporative cooling. When I tried it, the misting was so strong that it felt like being in the rain. the fan works well though.

So far this fan is great. I have 2 now. One with wheel kit and one that was missing wheel kit but I offered either a reimbursement or complimentary additional fan- which I chose, because this fan is very powerful. Customer service was professional and helpful.

    • TLDR: Poor build quality, annoying to assemble, but pushes air decently.
Missing hardware (I did not get the snap rings that hold the wheels on, which is frustrating). Comes completely apart but doesn't really save shipping space in doing so. Poor quality materials, the fan will swivel easily because of the way its supported, which maybe be good or bad depending on use case. The fan blades rattle when its running, increasing the noise, and this thing is already very loud. It gets two stars because the airflow is quite decent, high volume and circulates air well. But with low quality materials I am skeptical about longevity, this is definitely not an industrial quality fan just so you know. NOT FOR JOBS. EDIT: The motor gets EXTREMELY HOT also, because of the lack of cooling fins on the housing. Bad ... show more

I haven’t used this fan yet! I’m so exasperated after trying to assemble this fan! The bolt that secured the fan shaft to the motor wasn’t included. One nut wasn’t included. I had to dig through my extra parts to complete the assembly. The instructions were pitiful. Photo illustrations were small and blurry, and individual parts were not labeled. What should have been a 30 minute assembly turned into 2 hours by the time I went out to the shop and shuffled through spare parts. I usually assemble all Christmas toys, etc. It’s usually a piece of cake. Don’t buy unless you have spare nuts and bolts! ... show more
