Love this mower so far! Only 2 weeks in, but feeling great about it. I will say that it's a heavy beast, but I knew that coming in, and I'm a big guy. But definitely worth noting. Packs plenty of power for cutting and moving. It is really nice that you can adjust the drive/walk speed as well. I haven't had any reason to push past 3rd gear, and I think it might drag my old carcass around if I went to max. Electric start and deck wash hose fitting were nice extras I wasn't looking for, vs the bag and wide deck, but I am glad they happen to be there! Cuts neat and even. Doesn't seem to chug fuel.     • Awful product,with customer service to match
Doesnt want to restart once its warmed up,has to cool down 2-3 hours before it will restart.Ive had to use a second person,to hold the lever that keeps the engine running to empty the grass catcher,a dangerous move I dont reccomend.The other option for me is plan on spending 8-9 cutting grass,and cooling down the mower!!I cant seem to return the mower,its only 2 weeks old,and I purchased the 3 year protection plan.So far it only seems to protect yardmax.I was referred to Yardmax tech support.Yardmax self serve tech support has you click on your model number from a list they provide...guess what..the model I purchased isnt on thier list,and and cant be entered manually.If you have $530 to throw away on an oversize paper weight ,this is a great product!! ... show more

Very well pleased with this mower! Well made, strong performance with great pricing. I’m very impressed with the brand as I also have a tiller of theirs which is great. The wide mowing width with a powerful self propelled force and electric start is the perfect balance for me. Definitely recommend! Bye it and you’ll be pleased.     • Not that great
Overall this is a nice mower. It easier a bit on the heavier side and slightly difficult to move on the turn arounds. The push button start is a nice feature if you have any arm issues. The only issue I have is that the power stated doesn't actually seem to be accurate. I've used the mower for the entire 2025 summer and what I notice is if the grass is higher than the deck the motor struggles to cut and cuts off. If not for the push button and the hight refund shipping charges I'd probably returned the mower. The power just isn't what I expected and the machine handles are clunky. The speed control doesn't really have more than two speeds and not nearly what they advertise. I'd rather buy local next time just in case you need to return it. ... show more

    • DONT DO IT! Worst post support experience ever received!
I purchased this roughly over a month ago for my partially disabled mother who depends on the electric start function. After less than a month and only two uses the automatic (push button) starter malfunctioned. After three weeks of back-and-forth emails in which they demanded videos proving that it wasn’t working properly, battery was charged, and that there was fuel in the gasoline tank. They made an assessment based on the videos and over 10 separate emails to diagnose it. The manufacturer told me to work with the place where I purchased it, which was Amazon and Amazon refuses to return it because it’s been used So in addition to paying almost $550 I get no refund or no exchange. Additionally, the manufacturer would only go so far as to say that it has a multi year warranty, BUT the best they can do is send me the Mechanical parts and I just have to figure it out. Pleaded with the manufacturer, letting them know that I’m not mechanically inclined at all and it seems awfully inadequate to send parts and ask somebody to figure it out. After two uses and two weeks past the original purchase date it stopped functioning. The manufacturer customer support (or complete lack of) was maybe the worst I’ve experienced. Essentially they agreed to send the Mechanical parts that we’re not functioning properly however I’m not a mechanic and I don’t think most homeowners are, but there’s no compensation for having it serviced and all they were willing to do is send parts. Unless I had a vendetta against somebody, I would never recommend this mower and I would highly encourage anybody who reads this review to avoid it at all costs. ... show more
